Yup, most people, and by most I mean 99.99%, are either stupid or evil, and hence, untrustworthy. I consider myself very lucky that I have had cats and some good friends and family, in the past. So, I know what it feels like to be loved. But there are millions of souls who have gone to their graves, miserable from birth, with not a break in-between. The world is a miserable place for most.

I have always noticed that people like to talk about themselves more than aything else. If you try to join in the conversation you immediately notice their lack of interest in what you have to say. Just my observation.

I’ve experienced this too, but I let them go and no longer have them in my life.
Disinterest. That one word sums it up. No need to expound further.
My issue with so called friends is that I would be the only one to reach out to people. Text and calling. If I would reach out they would usually respond and be polite. Sometimes we would even get together. BUT - It was all up to me. I would NEVER hear from these people otherwise. So, I've not been initiating anything with these peope.
Another variant of this is a long time "friend" who is nice enough to call once in a while and gets excited about meeting up. These future meet ups usually don't occur. I sometimes used to call him on a spur of the moment to see if he wanted to meet up , but he was always tired and/or needed to be up early the next day. So after having to deal with these reactions to going out I've stoppes asking and have been more prone to not pick up his call and let it go to voicemail.
I understand you. Those so called “friends” are so self-important that their fragile egos assume people should contact them. My own mantra for these types is “fu*k em”. You will get the right people soon enough. Let the others go.

Exactly! Most people who exhibit these behaviors do it to EVERYBODY. Not just you! Self centered people don't choose to be self centered around some people and not others.

I totally agree with that. Before social media came along I found it easier to make real friends. I'm no longer going to bother trying to make friends. I have my wonderful family, my precious dog and cat, and I have my spiritual life to explore. I am happy with that.
You have to take the good with the bad. Family can really hurt the most. I always pray for them. If they're doing to me, their mother, they're doing it to others.

Sadly, being GOOD doesn’t always mean being NICE. Being good should mean being kind and empathetic to others. Respecting their feelings and boundaries. Not always having to agree with everything. You should also have healthy boundaries and learn to say NO when you really need to. Helping one another and being there for someone is important and what makes you genuinely a good person but not necessarily making THEIR problems YOUR problems. That’s where healthy boundaries come in I believe. That is my two cents worth. Stay strong and stay blessed to anyone reading all the comments on this post.🙏🙂

I combine ghosting and disrespect in the same category. It takes 2 seconds to answer a text. If you're not worth 2 seconds, it speaks volumes of what that person thinks of you.

I agree. Also people who can't type a simple 3 words "How are you?" over months - this happened to me with 8 "friends" and in-laws while I had cancer. I stopped contact permanently.

Watching this, I realize I’m the bad friend.. unexpected but true, except for the attention one, that was never my thing. I truly belong alone, so be it.
It's so ironic that I am ghosted because I have no interest in contacting them for any reason. No reason. They are wasting their ghost in me and ghost somebody that cares or has anything to give them.

Ghosting in communication is not always a bad thing, here's why.. When you learn the character of some people, if they habitually gossip, backbite, curse, and you feel like you can't trust them with things you say, it's not bad to ghost. Communicate on a have to basis, even if it's family, to avoid negative situations and influences. They're not suppose to judge you, remember..?

For the sake of friendship, you have to decide to make allowances for minor faults of others. If there are too many faults and big faults, then move on! Many people out in California have faults.
