    I really don't understand the point of this series, or why DJI would ever sponsor it. "Let's take a drone designed for cinematic FPV and a brand new pilot completely new to acro and as soon as he can get in the air force him to do tricks like inverted yaw spins before he can even master the basics" seems like a terrible idea. Of course, Le Drib was yelling at his girlfriend to immediately try shooting gaps the first day she ever flew FPV so I'm really not surprised.

      For real this is such a scam considering you can get far better performance out of a cheap cinewhoop for less money and have a durable drone that's actually repairable. There's literally no point and I'm already having to steer new people away who are curious about actually learning FPV. When DJI builds one of those FPV quads / drones. Out of 4mm carbon fiber frame and arms with replacement parts I’ll buy one. Till then they can keep there Chinese plastic money 💰 pit for someone else to waste there money on. Great video really learning , good stuff

    • @Vousie
      @Vousie 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Agreed. They can keep their plastic crap. Carbon fiber only.
      Of course, I'm pretty sure they purposely didn't use carbon fiber... on a FPV drone that people are likely to crash a lot... with basically no replacement parts: DJI are money grabbers that only care about how they can get the most money out of people. Exhibit A: The "you can't get video out from the air unit & goggles without the smart controller" thing, and then a group of guys got it working ( with the V1's & V2's) and put it all out open source.

    • @swg_fpv
      @swg_fpv 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Nah it's nowhere near 15 mins. The drone uses a 2000mah 6s battery (1.8* the normal size on a 5 inch) and weighs about 1.5* as much, so flying in a cruisy freestyle-style, you'll get 9 mins *_tops_* ... lol can you tell I hate it :D

    Guys! What are the controller's settings for expo and center sensitivity? Your drone flies much smoother than mine, in my case it have some slow horizontal wobbling which I thnk could be from expo/sensitivity settings. Would love to hear your thoughts about.

  • @johncarold
    @johncarold 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hi Guys My first question is how much did that crash cost you. First problem is that, When I started flying quads, Everyone would say Don use angle mode or horizon, but with the DJI drone Everyone says to start in angle mode ?
    Until DJI will drop the price for repair or make the parts available I could never promote it. Second question is what is the difference between the DJI drone and a FPV drone that has GPS, altitude hold and position hold,

    • @lmn-pj6fb
      @lmn-pj6fb 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      i think its bc dji's failsafe is more reliable than betaflight. If a beginner flies more conservatively, in an event of error or failure, the dji one can still find its way home. Plus it has a pretty decent range straight out of the box

    This seems insane, use a tiny throw away fpv drone to practice and play. This can go multiple miles! 90mph fight huge winds, get great shots. Ffs your flying through metal rings falling out of the sky smashing into the ground with a brand new drone over 1,000! Makes me sick, go fly somewhere cool and see the power of this drone in action. Why do inverted spins? Like 100 ft above ground. Why shoot small gaps? Childish, these are extremely powerful tools.
