      No it's not. It's sinful is what it is.

      @@faithfulfitnessinc “And when Jesus was baptized, immediately he went up from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming to rest on him; and behold, a voice from heaven said, ‘This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.’” - Matthew 3:16-17
      Did he go up from the water or color pixels on a screen?
      God gave us what the commandment of baptism looks like. It was literal water not pixels. It was through this event God said He was pleased with His Son. If it at all is questionable, you should not do it!

      @@micahwright1578 this is one of my favorite scriptures. But my brother this doesn't mean virtual baptism is a sin. It's a beautiful principle to read the Word of God fully and allow the Holy Spirit to speak. Lean not on your own understanding. You may disagree with virtual baptisms but they are surely not a sin because that statement is not biblical, the Bible doesn't reference virtual reality nor does it stop creativity.

      @@faithfulfitnessinc God told us through Jesus how to pray, how to be baptized, how to have communion, and how to live.
      Romans 5:12-21
      Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned- for sin indeed was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not counted where there is no law. Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those whose sinning was not like the transgression of Adam, who was a type of the one who was to come. But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if many died through one man's trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for many. And the free gift is not like the result of that one man's sin. For the judgment following one trespass brought condemnation, but the free gift following many trespasses brought justification.
      This explains sin as an example of Adam. It is simply God telling us to do something, and we don't do it. Just like Cain gave an offering, but he did it incorrectly. I caution those who do baptism to do it correctly. God said, this is baptism. We ought not to find loophole on what is acceptable and what is not.

      @@vrmmochurch God showed us what a baptism is supposed to look like when Jesus was baptized. God showed us how to pray, when Jesus prayed. God showed us how to live when Jesus lived. How can your spirit not give you uneasiness when talking about virtual baptism? Christians know right from wrong by the direction of the Holy Spirit. And, if this unsettles us, it may be a good indication the Holy Spirit is giving a warning.

      @@vrmmochurch Cain gave the wrong offering . Sacrificing is biblical but it must be done how God prescribed it. Likewise baptism is biblical, but it must be done how God prescribed it. God gave Adam instruction, and he did not listen. Not listening to instruction = sin. God showed us baptism is literally water... the molecule with 2 hydrogen and 1 oxygen. Don't twist world ideas to Scripture.

      @@micahwright1578 Is baptism a requirement for salvation?

    • @micahwright1578
      @micahwright1578 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@vrmmochurch No, what does that have to do with anything? It's about leading God's children stray.
      1 John 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.
      Matthew 7:15 Beware of flase prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.
      2 Corinthians 4:1-2 Therefore, having ministry by the mercy of God, we do not lose heart. But we have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways. We refuse to practice cunning or to tamper with God's Word, but by the open statement of the Truth we would commend ourselves to everyone's conscience in the sight of God.
