- Feel very lucky and fortunate to be able to review this one. Up for review today is the latest Hazelburn 15 year old Oloroso cask matured release. I won't give too much away but if you enjoy sherry bombs with some Campbeltown DNA I think you will find a lot to enjoy with this release. Hope you enjoy the review guys:)

I agree with not adding any water, I’ve had it a few times and it doesn’t stand well to water brings out a metallic note for me in the mim pallet. Cheers

lucky you. Excited to try this one. Big fan of Hazelburn's sherry versions (Bourbon fits it perfectly as well though).
Yeah I do feel lucky. Still, could not secure a bottle of the Springbank 10 Palo Cortado unfortunately, so have entered a ballot. Don't think I will be so lucky this time 😁
Hope you enjoy it mate when you do get it - let me know how you get on with it once you have tasted it. I also enjoy bourbon cask maturation with Hazelburn - such a fruity dram 🥃

Only found their 12 year Oloroso about 6 months ago. Very good. So lucky to find "first timers" in the last 18 months including the Longrow Red 15 year and Springbank 10 year Local Barley. Was surprised how much I'm loving that Longrow Red. Cheers!
I wonder how this compares with the fantastic Cu Bocan 15yo?
I have a 5 sample pack from Cu Bocan that includes the 15 year old. When I get time to review it I will do a comparison in the video. Cheers for your comment mate.
