C63 AMG 507 Edition | The BEST Mercedes-Benz AMG ?

- Today, I walk you through my W204 C63 AMG 507 Edition. The 507 Edition is essentially the swan song to the legendary M156 6.2L V8. The engine paired perfectly to the small and balanced chassis of the W204 C-Class and since its inception...many can argue that the recipe for a big lumping V8 on a small and agile car has made the C63 one of the best modern AMG product...maybe the best of all.
Acquiring this car has been a dream and today I want to share with you guys what it's all about. I will be making a much more in depth review of this car very soon and some important preventative maintenance for this car so you know what to look out for when working on the M156 yourself.

This car is timeless. I bought a house this year as it had the priority, but I hope I will be able to buy a c63 507 before the value goes ballistic.
I did the opposite lol bought the car and now looking to buy a home. With that said, congrats on you! With time, you’ll find the right car for you 👍
House prices gone to hell, c63 is still (but not for much long for sure) affordable

Great car from a great era. I'm sure all of us petrol heads will look back fondly at the glorious v8 battle that took place between Mercedes, Audi and BMW. Your car look fantastic!
I've had mine for almost nine years now and even though I've driven other performance cars, there's something truly special about the C63 507. One of the last of its breed and an all time great! (Just wish it had a little less tire roar when driving on the highway... might be me getting old though :))
Oh... and absolutely get the lsd. I'm surprised they didn't fit it as standard on the 507

cheaper and possibly more effective is buy (say 2009 for its more aggressive front) in performance pack with its factory lsd, track suspension and 2 piece front rotors, then tune it. i dyno mine at 450whp, meaning crank more than 507, and i believe some of the 507 cars may not have lsd

Do you think a supercharger would ruin the sound? I’m looking in to a weistec stage 1 or stage 2 with some exhaust work to take it to hopefully 700+. As the 500hp is nice but it’s good to feel a little scared of it on straights just just corners 😄 do you think the whistle of the supercharger would be too overpowering? I’m struggling to find someone local who has done it so I can hear theirs
It may affect the sound but I personally have no experience with superchargers on the M156.
My dad just picked up one for $43k 27k miles extremely clean

Homie you gotta drive that car way more lol, they don't like to not be driven. I put 20k on my '09 M156 first year I had it 😂 it's at 66k right now and still going strong (I beat the piss outta it every time I take it out). I do all maintenance myself as well so that helps

Definitely the best Mercedes Benz AMG. It was never about speed nor the design (well partially lol) but the M156 engine.
