- 6th - 17th May 2021- 117 days since being diagnosed with stage 2a - grade 2, Hormone Receptive positive Breast Cancer. 68 days post bilateral mastectomy as my first line of defence. 47 days since my full axillary node clearance. Upgraded to stage 2b & downgraded to Grade 1 post mastectomy. T2N1
7 Weeks from diagnosis to surgery.
AC chemo round 2 - Have been up and down after this chemo. lost my hair this week

i remember i was sooo weak i had to practically crawl to the bathroom....i pray you don't get that weak....prepare 4 after chemo you'll be weak for awhile ...praying you get back on your feet fast !!!...i just went thru this last year the same time frame as you ..its all to real 4 me...im with you in spirit as a bc sister hun ..ik ik how your feeling😇😇😇

It broke my heart hearing how you suffered through your hair loss, the latest insult to your poor body. Then you bounced back after a few days. Your strength is amazing! You are an amazing woman. Beautiful heart and soul. Glad you're feeling better again. I absolutely love your mom's hair! Love what you did with your plants and loved the sound of the rain when you were sitting out there with them. It was all so soothing. I don't have a green thumb...I'm lucky if I grow weeds! lol Love your fish tanks, too. They look like they're a lot of work but they're probably a labor of love for you. Take care of yourself. You look great bald! Some women can really pull it off and you for sure can! I look absolutely awful and even though my hair is growing back, I still look awful. I really need hair desperately. Your mom’s hair looks really good. How nice to have her with you. Take care ~

I was so pleased to see your update Lindy as I have been thinking of you s much. You still look beautiful without hair, although, I actually thought the blond wig so suited you! Don't rule that one out! The hats though look cute. Every day, is a day nearer to the end of this chapter of your life Lindy. We shall then see videos of your continued hair regrowth(on your head that is!!!! lol) I think you are fantastic and you should be so proud of yourself. Crying is a healthy thing and helps to release pent up emotions. Is it this coming weekend your birthday?.. Love your plants, they are looking great. Hope this week is a good one for you. I didn't recognise myself in the video of me with blonde hair at first. Seeing it on video it actually looked better than in real life. I have a friend who has kindly given me some real wigs so hopefully I can wear them in my next vlog.
My mindset is very poor on my sick days and I do need to change it to looking at each day, even the sick days, are getting me closer to the end. I need to be sick to kill this beast.
My birthday is at the end of the month, unfortunately falls in my sick week too 😞

@@lindyloo03 I think it would be very strange if you didn't have your down days. Your body and hormones are being thrown everywhere by the treatment you are having. It's very hard to feel strong when you feel rotton and dealing with the side effects. Just don't be so hard on yourself. Involving yourself with looking after your plants and fish is very therapeutic. These rough times will pass, but, like when a storm hits, we cover up and lay low until the sun comes back out again and the days ahead again become bright..... I will look forward to seeing your other wigs. So far though I definitely vote the blond. You are a beautiful woman with or without hair. Sending you love xxx

Hi Lindy its Barbara,the hair falling out is,nt nice,when my husbands fell out from his chemo we hated it but its hair it grows back and as long as your cancer free its worth it.Hubby has been 5 years now from viral throat cancer so keep on and look forward to your holidayxx Mums hair looks good xx

I'm wondering if going in for fluids mid way during your chemo week would help you feel a bit better dehydration wise?

You have exquisite bone structure so you look truly do look beautiful without hair. For your lips maybe try Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream ... it’s a balm rather than a cream & very healing. Otherwise, hang in there as best you can. You have a great family to support you & enormous grace and humour which will help get you through this. Best wishes & positive thoughts from the U.K. ... PS “I’m not buying any plants. I have enough plants” made me laugh ... as if!

PS: I actually didn't buy any plants. More so because I was feeling unwell and it was too much effort lol

(I'm from Minnesota, USA.) I just wanted to pop in to tell you that you really are looking just fine, even though you don't think so. I understand that you are sad about the hair loss, but it sure makes life simple, right? Also, there are mouth washes for you to use for either dry mouth or sore mouth that really work. You can purchase them in the mouthwash/toothbrush aisle of any store. Your plants and fish are fascinating....do you have a favorite of each? Hugs.

My favourite fish is Maggie the Blood Parrot cause she is the cutest fish ever with little cheeks you want to squish. But I spend most of my time watching the big Americans (Tank, Bob, Jack etc), they are so aggressive.
I love all my plants and get excited every morning when I see new leaves unfurling.
It is lovely shaved too, you can rock it ❤️🤗

I used Biotin Shampoo and conditioner it really lessened the hair loss

No. I'm only Hormone positive Breast Cancer. I believe Herceptin is for women with HER2+ cancer
