Guys, this is based on a book by the same name. Go read it, its awesome! I almost slid of my chair when I found this, I am so happily suprised by this!
Whether it's a series or a film, don't frell it up by putting in "stars". This cast was great.
This looks like an introduction to a tv series or a movie.

The hype delivered by this maker in just a couple of minutes is what a lot great ones cannot do.

I believe this would make a great movie keep the actors you have in it. They are pefect for the roles
You raise an excellent point. Hollywood (and its non-American counterparts) is always going to want "draw names". They've ruined a lot of good stories like that. This project needs THOSE GUYS that were in the concept short. In a film set in THAT COUNTRY. With their ACCENTS AND CULTURE INTACT. These are not things Hollywood is competent to deliver.

Seeing the “now now” in the title I knew this had to have something to do with South Africa 🇿🇦 haha did not disappoint. Gosh, to us, ‘now’ ‘now now’ & ‘just now’ all mean different things.

Honestly it is impossible to explain "Now Now". It's kinda like "Later, but Now." The problem is that the meaning is compltely context related.
Example: The movie will start now now. I will send that email now now. Your pizza will come now now.

I came here because of a movie titled "Love and Monsters" , I love that movie and seriously loved the acting , effects , director , cast , score , the connection to both of these is the director
Micheal Matthews directed the movie titled "Love and Monsters" and when it ended , I wanted more of his work , so I googled Micheal Matthews and saw that he only has a few movies under his belt , and one of them was obviously "Apocalypse Now Now" , so I went to youtube and saw this masterpiece
Micheal Matthews has amazing potential , also , check out "Love and Monsters" , the trailer isn't as good as the film so don't be thrown off by it , I recommend that you give it a watch

This is one of the finest short films on Dust. The actors 3 are perfect in the rolls. The Dr is one of his best rolls par none. I have rewatched this clip hundreds of times as I discover something new and brilliant about this short Film

This video made me look up and read the book, then read it again, read the second one and gift them both to half a dozen people. I hope this will inspire others to pick up the book. One part of me yearns for a full feature Film or series, but part of me wants it to stay as this wonderful proof of concept that lures people into the wonderfully fucked up world of the books.

I just looked into this short a bit...it's a proof-of-concept for a novel by the same name, by one Charlie Human. Hope this does get made into a feature-length film one day!
Director has plans to further develop this.

Out of all the dust short films I've watched I keep coming back to this one. This short begs for a full production either cable TV so it can be done right, or a movie.
