After surviving a near fatal bout with cancer, I bought a 2010 Victory Vision Tour with ABS. I was 65 years old at the time and had not swung a leg over a motorcycle since my 20's. I had to learn to ride all over again. This year I finally had the strength and stamina to ride from Sioux Falls, SD to Custer, SD, almost 400 miles, for the Sturgis Rally. Outside of just killing it on I-90, this bike ran like a champ in the challenging Black Hills, including a 5 mile run each day and evening to get from my friends house to the paved highway on hilly dirt and gravel roads. It is just an amazing machine, extremely reliable, fuel efficient, and a torque beast. I have put 9000 miles on it so far this year and it only gets better. Every time I consider selling it, I just cannot. Even the Victory-Indian dealer's service department has advised me to never sell it. As you mentioned, Victory is being appreciated now by a younger generation and they sell before the ink is dry on the listing. So far no problem with parts. I plan to put a Lloyds Timing wheel on soon, and perhaps a few other performance mods, but I have not had to make any mods on it since I bought it. At 6'5" and 280lbs it has been the only motorcycle that fit well right out of the box. I am glad I found your channel and look forward to seeing more of your content. Be safe out there!
Congrats on making it through that battle! And props to you for getting into riding so many years later. I’ve never ridden the Vision but I’ve only ever heard great things about them. I’m glad you’re loving it! Even stock, Victory’s bikes pull amazing. I appreciate the kind words! Ride safe, man!
I first have to say that I am so thankful for your life and that you kicked cancer in it’s @$$! Also you have motivated me to pull the trigger on my first victory. I will make it happen in October as a retirement gift to myself. Ride we’ll brother, rubber side down. Stay cool.
I'm 66, I am happy you survived cancer and like a "BAD ASS" got a Vision. I have tow XC'S and a 2015 Arlen Ness VISION. The Vision is an INCREDIBLE machine....keep it up bro!
I will never sell my plasma lime magnum such a unique bike, just wanted to share in regards to the timing wheel. With my bike I put a fuel controller had it dynoed and the timing was adjusted during the mapping process, I highly recommend this first and dyno as you add mods. Victory sends out the bikes on the lean side the first fun after it was a very different bike in a good way ...that my experience wanted to share ...happy trails friend
Hello bikers ! Very excited! Yesterday I bought a 2015 Victory Cross Country Tour with 5k mile on it. I brought it from the USA, and it is the first Victory C.Country motorcycle in Albania🇦🇱
Just purchased a 2016 CCT last month…traded in a Harley Ultra Limited 2015…I honestly feel like I upgraded…more power, more comfort, suspension way better, air ride smother than Harley air ride…I have put 2000 miles in a month and I’m here to tell you…this bike is superior to the one I was on…very happy, wife is happy, never looking back…and I rode Harleys for 34+ years before I made the decision to do different…only regret is that I didn’t do this sooner!
The 106ci is an absolute monster of a motor. Cams, intake, exhaust, and tune will out perform a 114ci stage 2. My highball sure does. It's insane to think about as how much time has passed to allow competitors to compete with such an old motor.
My 05 vegas 8 ball with the 92" and 5 speed ran with both my brother in laws factory 2020 112" harleys. I'd like a Harley to ride hard and save my victory for the nice mountain rides strictly because of parts availability between the two. However the price of upgrading my victory into a 100" with 6 speed is justifiable so much I may just buy 3 or 4 victory drive trains to hang onto for a rainy day.
I have a 16 Cross Country with a LLoyds filter, timing wheel, PC5, gutted stock mufflers ((stock head pipes)), and a dyno tune. She makes 102 hp and 120 tq to the wheel. That will walk any stock 114 today and even keep up with the new 117. The 106 is an absolute beast!
@@andrewsavage1872 Well, i guess you prove my point - You are an idiot lol If you are going to put down Harley, i suggest maybe owning one or knowing a little about them. The M8 has the 107, 114, 117 that are stock, learn a little before you make yourself look foolish "again" I think the only thing that is "slow" is you
Great video, thank you 😀 I`m always happy to see people showing support for Victory Motorcycles, they really are great bikes in every way. Polaris made a fantastic Motorcycle with there Victory Brand, I can only hope someone will buy the name and bring them back. But for now we can continue to show our love for them through social media and keep them alive!!! I have a 2016 Victory XCT and absolutely love it! My Wife adores it also 😉42,000 miles and going strong, hope to keep it going for many more years. I don`t ever want to give it up😎😎😎
My wife and I own 2 Victory's each and we both want a few more on top off the ones we own now. Started buying them summer of 2017. Not at all worried about parts for them. Dumbest thing is to not buy because of parts. Go to your local car dealer and ask for a part for a 10 year old or older car. They ride great, fantastic power and at any bike night/show they always get people to stop and stare at them. Till the Wheels Fall Off !!!!!!!
I have a 2011 Cross Country. I did a Maximus tune, 505 Cams, a custom 2-1 exhaust and a new air cleaner. It’s an absolute beast now. One of the fastest baggers I’ve ever ridden. It’s super smooth and the power is incredible. Victory failed because of their marketing approach and they never developed an identity. Victory was a superior bike to Harley.
Sounds like a beast! I’m planning on doing the exhaust, advanced timing gear, and a power commander with a dyno tune here shortly. I’d love to do the cams too. And, in my opinion, Victory is STILL superior to Harley in many ways.
Well I did June 2022. With less than 1k miles on 2013 Vegas 8 ball. I have no regrets either probably will be passed on to to my son someday. The bike has been the most exciting one out 10 owned during lifetime.
Good video, I put 50k in a little over 2 years in my 2014 xct. Very reliable, the only maintenance issues were changing the oil, tires and cleaning the throttle body intake of carbon build up. With Lloyd's and witchdoctors you should have enough aftermarket parts support to keep them as long as you want. I have friends with 120k+ miles and they don't burn oil and have not been rebuilt. Keep the rubber side down!
got my 2011 Vegas 6 years ago with 1700 miles on it, done 2 trips to the South of France on it from Northern Ireland, it is ready to go and needed no mods , great value for money.
I've had my cross country for about 3 years now. By far IMHO the best handling cruser ever! It feels 200 lbs lighter than the vtx1300 I had previously and has tons more power. I did the magnaflow mod on the exhaust. It sounds great but not too loud. Added custom paint this summer. Love it, love it, love it!
I love mine, and hope that in the next couple years, an aftermarket company sees the value and develops kits to overhaul them. I have a 2014 Cross Country - just love it, and would love to find a way to keep it. I might even try to buy a parts bike in the next couple years if I can find a low milage one.
I’ve considered doing the same! But tbh between all the social media groups I feel like a lot of people are willing to help me find parts if I need them!
I just purchased a 2015 Magnum in Plasma Lime. I had the exact bike before but Hurricane Michael took care of that in 2018. I was kind of leary about purchasing a Victory again due to them not being made anymore. However, I know how awesome the 106ci engine is and loved how the Magnum looks and fits me. I leave tomorrow to pick it up in Oklahoma City and will be riding it all the way back home to Panama City, FL. Can't wait to hit the road on it!
Hell yeah! The bikes are well worth the travel, especially if you find a good deal. I bought mine in Colorado and road it back to Utah. I love the look of the Magnum. Congrats!
I've owned a 14 Cross Country since summer of 2017. Just a fantastic cruiser bike. Much better ergo comfort for my 6 foot body than any of my friends street glides, and no comparison to the plush suspension. Back in 2018 I got the Lloyds 501 cam and air filter, then tuned with Maximus. I seldom use the power this generates 115 hp and 115 tq, but sure is fun to get on it from time to time.
Hell yeah. Your bike sounds like a beast! The natural comfort of the XC’s riding position is unmatched. Street glides feel like you sit ON them, XC’s feel like you sit IN them.
Also with victory Polaris started putting much more time and effort in the razors. Which business wise was a very smart move seeing how you see those 10-1 to victory motorcycles now. Unfortunate because I love my vic. But Polaris is cashing in on the side by side craze.
I miss my 2015 cross country tour, would I buy another one? I guess that would depend on weather I could find a nice Magnum. Very reliable bikes. And weather the aftermarket steps up and starts providing parts.
I love my 2009 kingpin, only 17k miles! Hopefully i wont need many parts due to the reliability of these machines. Very smooth comfortable ride, glad i bought it when i did a year ago.
Iam in the uk and just looking now for a victory, probably going to be a hammer. They are in short supply over here as people don't sell them on the used market. It may take some time to find the right bike for me. There's literally only a handful of bikes forsale here in the UK.
It makes sense that they don’t come up for sale often over there if they’re in short supply. I’m sure once you find yours you won’t want to sell it either! Best of luck!
For those worrying about Victory parts ending production in 2024: I can still buy OEM parts for my MG that hasn't been in production for 45 years. And there are more Victory's made than MG's. Fear not and ride on!
I have owned 5 of them. Sold my last Vision a year ago to get into a home. Had the garage now so a place to keep a bike. Could not find a Another Vision at the year and price I wanted. Parts are finally dwindling especially after market. I ended up with a Honda ST1300 just a sportier Vision and all ready has the power from the factory. Already had aftermarket exhaust so just perfect. But since Victory was way ahead of its time it perfectly fine today. Especially a bike that likes and responds to simple mods increases performance easily., There is still enough aftermarket since Lloydz is still available to include the VicShop. So there is still some support just few and far in between. Luckily Victory bikes are easy to work on as simplistic as a motorcycle can get.
I own a 2008 Victory Jackpot I bought back in 2010. I haven't been able to ride it much over the years and it only has 6400 miles on it. This year bought to ramp it up!!!!!!
I have an old 92 inch kingpin deluxe with hacker true duals and fi controller. I improved the air box with a high flow filter and found a victory nos vented filter cover that I duplicated those vents on the other side of the airbox and screened them in too. Also opened up the air vent behind the fork neck. You would never know because the airbox otherwise looks stock. It seemed to make a difference too and It runs and rides great. Would be nice to have a six speed so I'll possibly look for a cross country. But probably keep the ol pin anyway.
The 92 is a beast as well. My first cruiser was a Vegas with the 92 and it was a blast. Having that extra gear in the 106 is nice though. If you can swing it I’d highly recommend the XC
I just bought another one, an XR this time! Not worried about finding parts either as just about anything you need is available somewhere- after market accessories are probably limited but that's not really an issue. These beasts are like Japanese bikes as far as reliability goes.
I just demo'd an Indian Challenger today at the Sturgis rally. The Challenger is the closest thing yet to the design of a Victory and there were some good things about it but also much lacking. I was glad to go get on my Cross Country Tour after the demo and ride away.
Appreciate the feedback. If/when I give up the Cross Country I’m really interested in the Challenger, although I don’t see that being any time soon. What did you feel was lacking on the Challenger?
@@AG2W The comfort wasn't there compared to the Cross Country. I'm not a big person but the CC gives you ample room to move around with the legs and feet. The dash on the Challenger seemed kind of 'in your face', especially with the huge touch screen and the gauges seemed harder to read but maybe a person could get used to that. The engine had good power but also seemed it could be better refined which seemed odd given the throttle by wire vs the cable throttle of a Victory. Maybe all this technology is actually a distraction from what's really important.
...I dunno where you live, but damn is the background landscape gorgeous - those mountains lines are awesome. I live in the mountains of AZ, and will never live anywhere without mountains. Maybe Nevada, Colorado, or Utah?
I miss my victory cross country tour so much. But when I had it there was only one Defect on it and that was the radio once I got to a certain speed I couldn’t raise the volume no more. I just hope in the future that victory does come back out because I would definitely go back to victory faster than a heartbeat.
Good video, I agree with almost all of your comments. Performance, style and handling Victory had it all. Unfortunately talking bad about HD didn’t work out so well. Polaris apparently has learned their lesson. Sold my last Victory (a Vision) less than a year ago and I regret it. Own an HD now but looking to buy a Vic again.
As a Harley guy, i liked Victory & owned 3, always owned Harley but had a couple Victory and they ran well, ended up selling them in March 2020 and picked up a 2021 Street Glide. I looked at the Indian Chieftain and while it looked like a nice bike, i found getting on an Indian was like getting into a Toyota, it had that immediate plastic feel. I will be sticking to my Harley's, currently own a 2009 Rocker C, 2014 Dyna Wide Glide & 2021 Street Glide. Ive see more used victory motorcycles at Harley than i have at Indian dealers - That says something about Indian.
I had a '14 Highball and it was a great bike. Only traded it for a V-Rod. But that tribal flamed HB was a great cruiser on the road..... I even had a Clubbie mate positively comment on its performance.
I have two friends, one with a Vision and the other a Crossroads and they both enjoy their bikes. I have another buddy who’s moving to a bagger soon from his M109 and is considering a Victory. He’s concerned about the parts in the future but I’ve heard they are solid bikes. And they are really cool and unique. I may grab me up one before they are all gone.
I highly recommend them! I actually sold my old Highball to a buddy this year, and I had another buddy buy an 04 Vegas as his very first motorcycle this year. I recommend them to everybody.
Interesting as I have a m109r and I need a bagger for long distance riding with my MC. My president and my vp both ride cross countries and they recommend I grab one now. Thinking hard about grabbing one this fall/winter.
I have a victory kingpin 8 ball. Air cleaner, RPW exhaust, fuel commander, caralini apes. Murdered out, loud and pisses off the neighbors. Put some money into it recently, paint, rear tire, changed the led lights. Got it for 6500 bucks and got about 2k in it so far but it’s running amazing. Runs a bit rich but i haven’t had a problem finding the parts i need. I want to put stretched bags on it, and a front fairing. If anyone has any ideas lmk
Bought my 2013 XCT in 2016 with 21500 mile on it. I now have 51 K and have had only a couple things go bad. A voltage regulator, IAC valve and a heck of a electrical problem that came back to being a burned up 40AMP CB down by the battery. I think the RR burned it up. But with some mechanical skills its been a great bike. I came off a Yamaha 2nd Gen Venture. This bike is a great handling. Its nice when someone asks you "is that a Harley?" My answer is nope its the other American motorcycle.
I've bought three different bikes from SLC Powersports over the last 6 years. They're my go-to. I almost went there to look at some sport bikes they have last weekend.😅 You can't go wrong with any of the Vics that they have listed! I personally like that 2012 with all of the performance upgrades...👀
@@AG2W the one with the meat hooks and the tru dual exhaust and power commander 5? That's a nice one. I am looking at that and the 2014 they have. Once i am there to buy one, I'm going to flip a coin and say "that's the one" 😂 I bought my Harley ultra classic from them 2.5 years ago, and now just want something else.
My 2 cents is if u buy a victory just buy some wear parts like a starter and stator/ charging system...3 drive belts...calibers...pads ...that type of stuff and ride it
My phone mount is made by Roam. I got it off of Amazon. Works great. I just have my phone plugged into a cigarette charger on the fairing. But to connect my phone to my stereo, I use a Taotronics auxiliary-bluetooth adapter. It plugs into my auxiliary cord in my saddlebags and then I just connect my phone to it via Bluetooth. Super simple!
@@AG2W I've had it since 2016. I had my left foot amputated last year, but put a heel shifter on it to keep riding. It's some work, but it beats not riding... Great Video...
Wasn't the attacks, its becanuse of the aftermarket. You can do anything with a Harley, and Victory you can't. I want a Vision 8-ball and a custom Road Glide
Really want a bigger cruiser/bagger. Victory really scares me. For parts availability And literally EVERYTHING you said quite literally is exactly why I will RUN AWAY from a victory. And that’s a shame because they do look real good
I'm torn. I have a 2020 Softail Slim with 15k miles.....stumbled upon a 2016 Cross Country Tour with 19k miles for $12.5. Kinda feel like that's a steal for a full on bagger.....it sucks we can't just have all the bikes lol
I had the classic cruiser models with the 92ci/5 spd l staged them u could make good power out of it. It’s overhead cam 4 valve heads. Also it has strait intakes from the throttle body this makes a difference with air flow where as on HD it’s mounted on the side of the motor so the intakes have a curve in them. Also the primary is gear driven and the secondary belt is opposite side. Alot easier and faster to change. HD finally found out u could make more power by having 4 valve heads. The timing wheel was not out yet when l had my bikes. But l read about it. It’s probably one of the best engine performance mods developed. I believe Lloyd developed it.
Well glad to see and hear you . Bye .
I was looking to get a Vision one 2014 14.000 km , I waited too much, was sold 🤦♂️🤦♂️, there’s another one 2011 with 50.000 km on it but when saw it was pretty much beat up, the vision has a tip over protection and the seller was trying to fooling me around 😂😂, I’m still looking around, the Magnum it’s awesome too, no many around, there’s a lot of “ Rebuild “ , but not even thinking about it. I guess I will have to wait until something comes, time will tell, thanks for the video, I’m more than encouraging to get a victory motorcycle, 👍👍
I think Victory’s make a great first bike! My first cruiser was a Victory Vegas. I then sold it to a friend and that is the bike he learned to ride on. I wouldn’t get a bagger as your first, so I’d stay away from the XC for right now. Any of their other models would be great. An Octane would probably be ideal to learn on if you’re lucky enough to find one for sale. The Octane’s are hella quick too.
@AG Two Wheels thank you. I'm 43 and just wanting to learn to ride so I can't see dropping big money on a first bike. I personally always thought victory motorcycles look so bad ass but I don't want to get something that's too mich bike for a first bike
@@sjwilson1079 I don’t think you can go wrong with any of their models for a first bike. They make good power, but it’s very usable and the throttle is still pretty forgiving. Also you won’t ever get “bored” of it after you get comfortable riding either! I’d just find something that feels right when you sit on it. Best of luck! And Merry Christmas!
I was born in 1956, bought my first bike 1973 Yamaha 360 in 72 on my own age 16. I have ridden, owned Harleys, Hondas, Suzukis, Yamaha, Kawasaki etc. I ridden bikes in different countries. I had a bad crash on my Harley 20 years ago and 5 years ago a Marine buddy asked to ride his Victory to the shop. I OWN THREE! I love everything about them, I feel my youth renewed, the handling, power, LOOKS to die for,.....I love working on them, customizing them, and most of all RIDING on them: I will ride till I can't anymore: NEVER LEAVE VICTORY. I, like ALL bikers have tens of thousands of dollars on upgrades I want to do to them...lol
That narrative about Polaris is nice enough to provide part support for 10 years is a federal law they have to do it, It’s not because Polaris is looking out for their client base
I love my Cross Country! I love all Victory bikes, but the Vision is one that just never grew on me. It does have all the comforts and features though.
That’s some pretty high mileage for a bike that’s only 6 years old. But if it seems like it’s in good shape and it has been maintained well, I say send it.
I’m more concerned about hard parts tbh… There is still a fair amount of options for aftermarket stuff, even if it means using small businesses advertising on Facebook. I’m more concerned about stock parts going forward.
Not sure where you’re located, but I recommend Impulse Powersports in Lehi to everybody. It’s two brothers that own the shop, and they’re both studs that do great work. I’ve taken all 6 of the bikes I’ve owned to them over the years for everything from oil changes to full-on rebuilds.
107k on my '12 Cross Country Tour and its still going strong. Find a good Indy mechanic and ride. The wait for parts/accessories isn't unique to Victory, unfortunately.
@@AG2W ty sir, i feel like its a good idea to buy up a few hard parts while supply is getting thinner, starter, fuel pump, stator ect.... and a set of Loyds cams & intake next!
Im looking for a CC, but a STOCK 106 absolutely does NOT make more power than a stage 2 m8. Especially in a 114. Theyre great performers, but if you're trying to educate your viewers, you should probably educate yourself on the topic.
I think marketing and the fact that the fit and finish on many of them just was not in Harley’s league. I have heard more than a few victory riders complain that the paint gets damaged way easier. A few of them looked really good but there were a few that just looked more like they belonged in a Jetsons episode. I agree that performance wise they were there. I’d for sure say you are safer buying a victory now than you would have been before the internet days. But Indian dealers are way fewer and farther in between than Harley dealers, and an Indian dealer that could work on a victory if it did break down are even fewer. And todays Indian isn’t nearly the same that started over 100 years ago no matter how much they like to beat the “heritage” drum. They paid someone for the name and material and are now slapping it on Polaris. Darn good bikes also kind you, but can’t say it’s the same Indian at all.
I felt like if they just put the name out there more for the victory it would have been a lot better and really put HD on their heels I mean just imagine five years later before they closed if they would have put all that money that they put into their Indians what that bike would it became it only had like 6 or 7 gaskets Harley has about 50 gaskets I mean right out the gate the victories never leaked and once again all 100% made in Tennessee their American-made bikes
I'm on my 3rd and probably last Victory. I had a 2010 Vegas 8-ball that I wrote off then got a Hard-Ball and sold that then got a 2015 magnum (profile pic). They weren't good at marketing them here in Australia. They're holding up pretty well, always get swamped when I park up asking what it is. I wouldn't buy another one cause I've had all the ones I wanted, I was 🤏 close to getting a chieftain for the electric windscreen and the rider triangle fits me better (I'm 5'7").
That is a clean looking bike! It’s cool to hear from Victory riders from all the way down there in Australia! Yeah I’m on my third Vic as well. Had an 04 Vegas, then a 2012 Highball, and now the 16 XC. I’m in the same boat as you, I kind of feel like I’ve now owned all the ones I’ve wanted. I still plan on keeping my XC for a while, but it’s very likely my next cruiser will be an Indian.
@@AG2W there's a few owners down here. Soo much harley content on TH-cam, I've started this channel but haven't had time to do alot. Feel free to watch them... I'll sub to you 👍. @@Carcyclechronicles yeah the Indians are pretty pricy here too, even the used ones. But I appreciate it, man! I’ll definitely check out your videos and I’ll sub to you as well👍🏻
Victory values have shot down in 2024. I can not believe how cheap you can get one. It is probably the ending of support by Polaris in 2027. People are afraid there will be no parts or parts will skyrocket. I would still take a chance on one for the 2024 prices.

@@andrewsavage1872 Well, i guess you prove my point - You are an idiot lol If you are going to put down Harley, i suggest maybe owning one or knowing a little about them. The M8 has the 107, 114, 117 that are stock, learn a little before you make yourself look foolish "again"
I think the only thing that is "slow" is you
I bought one in early December 2023...
L O V E V I C T O R Y!❤
I needed this...I been trying to decide if I should buy a Victory..u my man have truly been a blessing..thank u😊
Thanks man! Get one!
I don`t ever want to give it up😎😎😎
Appreciate it! 🙏🏻 I’d love to see Victory get revived in some way in the future.
Good point!
They’re great bikes! Everyone, whether they’re motorcycle people or not, seem to love the way they look too!
That’s awesome to hear!
Appreciate it! I hope to log as many miles on mine as you have on yours!
You too! 🤙
got my 2011 Vegas 6 years ago with 1700 miles on it, done 2 trips to the South of France on it from Northern Ireland, it is ready to go and needed no mods , great value for money.
Hell yeah that’s awesome!
Barnett makes good replacement cables for them. So there is some aftermarket stuff available.
Great to hear! I love mine as well!
Congrats!
Glad that I came across your video, because I just pick up a 2010 cross country last month.
Needing to find a couple of victory cross country groups.
There’s a couple Facebook groups specifically for the XC you can join that are pretty active. Congrats on the purchase!
@@AG2W - good morning.
Oh ok.
Thank you.
You have some good points I’ve owned a few victory’s myself and I love them!!
Yeah they are super reliable! I love the kingpins too they’re good looking bikes!
Bought a 2009 Kingpin in 2022! Just 9K miles. Love the machine!!
I recently bought a Victory motorcycle as my first bike. I am excited to see what's in store for me.
Searching around random videos and was happy to see another Victory rider around the Salt Lake Valley! I've got a 14 Vegas 8-Ball and I love it
There’s a few of us around here!
The Vegas 8-ball is a sexy bike. Ride safe, man!
I'm on my 5th Victory. Never needed a mechanic. Picked up a 2017 Vegas new from a dealer this year and riding it regularly.
That gives me hope! 🙏🏻
2027 man! 10 years they said.
1 of my favorite bike's a guy from ct is the best person to hook it up for you promise named Josh Reyes
How can I get in touch with him
Thanks for sharing information about Victory.
Well thought out comments. You make so much sense.
Especially a bike that likes and responds to simple mods increases performance easily.,
There is still enough aftermarket since Lloydz is still available to include the VicShop. So there is still some support just few and far in between.
Luckily Victory bikes are easy to work on as simplistic as a motorcycle can get.
All great points!
Glad you were able to get a bike again after selling yours. The ST1300’s are cool looking.
I bought 2015 Gunner about a month ago. Sweet ass bike! Only had 1,200 miles on it. It’s a damn shame they don’t make them anymore.
That’s awesome. The Gunner is a great looking bike.
That’s awesome. The Gunner is a great looking bike.
I own a 2008 Victory Jackpot I bought back in 2010. I haven't been able to ride it much over the years and it only has 6400 miles on it. This year bought to ramp it up!!!!!!
Yeah put some more miles on that baby!
Got a 2016 high ball in February hadn't ridden in 12 years (being a kid on a dirt bike)
The thing is sweet, fast, comfortable, stable.
I'm 6'8 too.
Yeah I live in Utah! I take it for granted sometimes, but Utah is definitely a beautiful state!
I miss my victory cross country tour so much. But when I had it there was only one Defect on it and that was the radio once I got to a certain speed I couldn’t raise the volume no more. I just hope in the future that victory does come back out because I would definitely go back to victory faster than a heartbeat.
I’ve noticed that about the radio as well! Seems like once I hit 15 out of 30 on the radio there is no noticeable increase in the volume as you go up.
I have a 14XCT, a 14 Highball and just purchased a 10 Hammer. Hopefully I'll get a couple more in the future!
Hell yeah! That’s quite the collection!
There's a vagas in my area with just over 8k miles all stock the owner is asking $4k. Very tempting
That’s a great deal!
Buy it!👍
Good video, I agree with almost all of your comments. Performance, style and handling Victory had it all. Unfortunately talking bad about HD didn’t work out so well. Polaris apparently has learned their lesson. Sold my last Victory (a Vision) less than a year ago and I regret it. Own an HD now but looking to buy a Vic again.
Thanks! Yeah I plan on keeping my Victory for a while. But if anything I’ll probably consider an Indian in the future.
I purchased a 2016 Cross Country in May of 2022. Had a 2012 model and sold it before moving.
Hope you love it!
@@AG2W I do!
I had a '14 Highball and it was a great bike. Only traded it for a V-Rod. But that tribal flamed HB was a great cruiser on the road..... I even had a Clubbie mate positively comment on its performance.
I had a Highball with quite a few performance parts before I had my XC. The Highball rips!
What's considered high mileage and to stay away from on a 106? I'm looking at a 2105 Cross Country with 77k on it priced at $5k.
I ride a 12 Victory Vision and the wife rides a 12 Kingpin. Great bikes both.

Hey bro, I have a 2009 Vision. Best bike I've ever owned. 💯 rate them above most other cruisers.
Glad you love it, man!
Great to hear that it’s lasted you so long!

styling wise the victory is very nice compared to the other "batwing" faring
Agreed. There’s a lot about Victory’s styling that I prefer over other brands.

My 2 cents is if u buy a victory just buy some wear parts like a starter and stator/ charging system...3 drive belts...calibers...pads ...that type of stuff and ride it
Can you tell me about you phone holder? And also your hook up to your speakers thanks

That’s a damn good deal!
And if the bank believes in you, I believe in you.
Yeah I’ve had the advanced timing gear by Lloyd’z in two bikes now!

I guess I will have to wait until something comes, time will tell, thanks for the video, I’m more than encouraging to get a victory motorcycle, 👍👍
Yeah Victories go quick where I live too! Gotta jump on them when you see the right deal. Good luck!
How would you say they are for a first bike?
That’s awesome hear! Victory really is in a league all on its own.
I love victory motorcycles. The way they look I dig.
Victory’s styling was ahead of its time.
Don't break your turn signals. You most likely won't be able to replace them.
That narrative about Polaris is nice enough to provide part support for 10 years is a federal law they have to do it,
It’s not because Polaris is looking out for their client base
I did not know that. Interesting!
Ive road a cross country it’s a very nice ride. Ive heard the Vision was the best ride although it has a love it or leave it look.
I love my Cross Country!
I love all Victory bikes, but the Vision is one that just never grew on me. It does have all the comforts and features though.
Found a octane with 85k for 5k. But seems high. Thoughts?
That’s some pretty high mileage for a bike that’s only 6 years old. But if it seems like it’s in good shape and it has been maintained well, I say send it.
What would you say the market needs more of? Just hard parts or aftermarket custom parts?
I’m more concerned about hard parts tbh… There is still a fair amount of options for aftermarket stuff, even if it means using small businesses advertising on Facebook. I’m more concerned about stock parts going forward.
Very similar situation to Yamaha.. Great bikes and they discontinued thr whole cruiser line..
The Indian Challenger is the bike we were waiting for Victory to make. Go test ride one and you'll see what I am talking about.

Actually engines in Wisc. Bike assembly in Iowa.
Are these liquid cooled?
The 106 cu engine is air & oil cooled. Shortly after Victory was discontinued Harley started equipping their bikes with oil coolers as well.

I’m planning on getting another sport bike next year as a second bike, so I’m probably going to give it a a couple years and try and find a good deal on a used challenger or chieftain when it comes time to move on from the XC.
But I appreciate it, man! I’ll definitely check out your videos and I’ll sub to you as well👍🏻
@@AG2W thanks mate, apologies in advance with the sound quality lol.
Yeah we'll probably do the same in regards to used bikes
Only thing Harley hasn’t improved is the price tag
I have a 08 kingpin 8 ball 30+thou.and runs strong and great, love the bike yes it's perty fast!
Victory values have shot down in 2024. I can not believe how cheap you can get one. It is probably the ending of support by Polaris in 2027. People are afraid there will be no parts or parts will skyrocket. I would still take a chance on one for the 2024 prices.
I want the magnum
