Cuba will eventually be free, no matter what the American predators do. Natural laws will continue to govern human existence. Patience will reward the Cuban people. VIVA CUBA!!! Anti-communism is undemocratic.

They cannot control your resources if you are socialist. Look at what they are doing with Venezuela. These Western evil empires will have their end. By that time, humanity will definitely be in a safer place.

remember that vietnam was never an existential threat to the US. Cuba was because of the cuban missiles crisis in 1963. US will never normalize relationship until the communist party is gone.

That is the best reason I have heard thus far of continuing the embargo. We don't want dangerous Commies 90 mile from our shores. Mr. Trump 100%!

Doesn't seem very democratic to a sane person though.

@@JohnnySpanit has nothing to do with democracy. USA and democracy or peace does not come together, it's actually the opposite. Anywhere the US is, there will be war, chaos and destruction.

Lesson? Little islands shouldn't bite the hands that feed them. Island countries have unstable economies if not attached to their closest mainland. Cuba picked a country thousands of miles away to align with. Stupid!

The difference is the dollar, the USD is the world reserved currency. Cuba has ... literally NOTHING.

The last reason brought up by Mr. Bolender before the end sounds like a perfectly legitimate reason to continue the embargo.
