Dominique Sachse It is absolutely PERFECT on you. As I mentioned before, with these colors, you have found your hair’s and overall look’s “sweet spot”!
When I was about 8 or 9, my mother had my hair cut off because it was so difficult getting me ready for school in the morning. it was snarly, and I hated having anyone brush it - detangle it...aweful - well my mother cut off all my hair and gave me a pixie cut similar to what you have Dominique...and I never felt so ugly in all my 8 short years life - I was so vulnerable and was so self conscience and did I say ugle. It damaged me as I have NEVER gone short like that again - I am now 58 and ready to stop dying my hair and get on with letting the gray come out - get on with getting on! ..and when I see how lovely and versatile your cut is....it makes me think I should reconsider...not sure. But man!!! I so enjoyed how you want us to "get it" about going bold...Today I am off to my hairdressers...not sure what the conversation will be...but I am closer than have ever been in 50 years! Crazy.
My mom did something similar up till I was 5 or six ( dutchboy with uneven bangs) then I begged her to let me grow it out. Didn't have short hair till 6 the grade (the shag) now I want to go back to short hair this summer. I also miss having Auburn hair

Good luck with the stylist! I love my short hair; have kept mine short since age 17, with no regrets. Also stopped coloring it ~1.5 years ago. It's white at the temples. So liberating to not worry about the ever 4-6 weeks of touch ups!

I'm so thankful I saw this video today. I had a chin length highlight bob. I decided I wanted something easier and got my hair cut into a pixie bob and my color is lighter almost platinum which I love. But I I have regretted the pixie. So much of my face showing. It's been four days and I have cried thinking I made a huge mistake. I have a wedding today and decided I have to own this hair for a while and need to figure out how to style it. Got a longer bob back on early Nov. Wash it 2x wkly and use some sort of gel. During the wk I use a small barrette for two to keep hair off face when the errands are being run. I dress for church & use a fancier clip & usually so.e product. Been thinking of getting a body wave but not sure if I want to bother. You're right! Short hair doesn't limit your options for wear.

When I was about 8 or 9, my mother had my hair cut off because it was so difficult getting me ready for school in the morning. it was snarly, and I hated having anyone brush it - detangle it...aweful - well my mother cut off all my hair and gave me a pixie cut similar to what you have Dominique...and I never felt so ugly in all my 8 short years life - I was so vulnerable and was so self conscience and did I say ugle. It damaged me as I have NEVER gone short like that again - I am now 58 and ready to stop dying my hair and get on with letting the gray come out - get on with getting on! ..and when I see how lovely and versatile your cut is....it makes me think I should reconsider...not sure. But man!!! I so enjoyed how you want us to "get it" about going bold...Today I am off to my hairdressers...not sure what the conversation will be...but I am closer than have ever been in 50 years! Crazy.
My mom did something similar up till I was 5 or six ( dutchboy with uneven bangs) then I begged her to let me grow it out. Didn't have short hair till 6 the grade (the shag) now I want to go back to short hair this summer. I also miss having Auburn hair
I can relate to your story as my mother did the same, long hair that I loved to a short layered style and I've never been able to have the same long hair again.
Good luck with the stylist! I love my short hair; have kept mine short since age 17, with no regrets. Also stopped coloring it ~1.5 years ago. It's white at the temples. So liberating to not worry about the ever 4-6 weeks of touch ups!

I'm so thankful I saw this video today. I had a chin length highlight bob. I decided I wanted something easier and got my hair cut into a pixie bob and my color is lighter almost platinum which I love. But I I have regretted the pixie. So much of my face showing. It's been four days and I have cried thinking I made a huge mistake. I have a wedding today and decided I have to own this hair for a while and need to figure out how to style it. Got a longer bob back on early Nov. Wash it 2x wkly and use some sort of gel. During the wk I use a small barrette for two to keep hair off face when the errands are being run.
I dress for church & use a fancier clip & usually so.e product. Been thinking of getting a body wave but not sure if I want to bother.
