You comforted my soul. My whole life (72yo now) surrounded by family & friends who had the horror of this EVIL LIE from the pit of HELL, seep into their being. They truly believed we would be better off.
Thank you for your loving, courageous generosity to make this post. I'm truly grateful.

Brian, this was such a beautiful tribute, and your appeal to those suffering from suicidal thoughts was wonderful. I’m going to share this on my FB page, in the hopes that God will use it. Proud of you, my friend..

I don’t even know what to say. Man, this truly hits hard. I’m sorry to hear of a brothers passing. I’m thinking of you all and FF Ritchey’s family.

Thank you for publicly speaking about suicide. People need to know depression is a real illness.

You know if it had been reversed he would have done this for you. You’re a good man to tell us all about him and give us all a part of him too. Every person who carries a story after a death puts that person further into this world. He’s not gone when he’s remembered. I’ve buried an adult son, I feel strongly when we die we are still here with every person who carries a piece of us, for as long as that happens.

I buried my father the same week I buried Ritchey, and even with that, i cannot imagine the loss of one of my kids, grown or otherwise. My grandmother, my Dad's mom, is still alive and I remember thinking how much harder for her it must be. I will pray for you and your family and I'm very sorry for your loss.
