    I though this project was so dumb until I have seen the on-screen projection of multimeter values. The I realized how it is amazing to use enhanced reality interfaces. Genious!

  • @SurajGrewal

    Hmm... Would cost the same, if made using esp series of boards. All you need is screen, esp module and battery management. Plus it'll allow over the air updates and code reloads, so usb connector is not required.

    Just wondering. Why did you choose to go with an Atmega and a separate bluetooth module. Could you not use something like the much smaller ESP-01M?

    • @ELECTRONOOBS
      @ELECTRONOOBS  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there. Yes, pretty sure there are other ways to make this. The multimeter from 1 year back already has the hc05 and I'm used to this configuration so that's why I've used it like that.

    Try getting yourself a reflex sight. Using it's half mirror can help make it compact. (Almost 1/3 of what you've got)
    If you want to reduce the size of it's mirror. You can use dimond disk and Dremel, but cover it with tape first and keep it water cooled

    Hi I Encouage you to Start a series on commercial aspects of product design. How to make business deals with component manufactures etc. give your own review on different manufactures , if you have contacts in Shenzhen make some videos on their business operation etc so viewers can get some experience of commercial product design process.

    Have you considered using an NRF-Series MCU with integrated bluetooth? I think from a hardware perspective this would be a better choice than an esp32 like others suggested because it uses less power. I don't know how good the software support (Arduino support?) on these MCUs is so that might be a problem.

    I do not know what your ma power usage is, but the Esp32 uses about 70 ma, if not in sleep mode, the Esp32 already has Bluetooth, I2C too for your Oled, saving you adding the Bluetooth board as you did,
