Thanks so much for your clear instructions. I am glad you didn’t edit out the glitches because I found it useful seeing how you dealt with the difficulties in real time. ❤

Update … I just finished my first granny square repair and it is indistinguishable from the rest. Cannot see it is a repair. Completely invisible. So happy 😁

You're a saint. I just got a granny square blanket from my husband's grandmother that needs repairing. First I was scared but now I feel prepared to fix it! Thanks for you 🫡

OK now I understand how you do it but I'm still pretty convinced it's magical 😁

Not sure if this is the best place to ask this but I've actually now been given a blanket by my friend which needs some repairs and I feel much more confident to tackle it after knowing about this video (thank you!). But her squares are much larger than the one you have (more like a foot square) so I was wondering if there was a good way for me to only replace one 'row' of the square rather than the whole thing? I had a go on a scrap granny of my own but I got a bit stuck at the point where I was meant to join the yarn back on and it went a bit awry! Thanks!

I actually have a blanket with a similar problem in my stack to repair so as soon as I get there I will film how I repair it!
