This was so great, so much info. I feel like I'm baby steppin towards doing a show like this, running workshops at Yarndale and Harrogate K&S this year with a view to applying for actual stalls next year!😬

🎉🎉 glad it went well... and very excited you'll be at k&s . Big shows are sooooo hard work (we used to do 20+ comic cons including the biggest london shows a year with 2 sml kids in our other biz omg.. the logistics... sometimes 2 in same weekends in diff parts of the country splitting ourselves & stock🙈) until you've done it you can't imagine the tiredness and crazyness and also fun of it .. oh yes and don't even think of going to the loo... or worse being ill at a show!😢 my top tips... belvita breakfast biscuits, multi packs of juice boxes and tunnocks lol! Top tips for k&s . There's loads of yr11-yr13 school trips on weekdays .. used to take my students every year back in the day...(last year lots looking for crochet defo cos im super nosy and chatted to them even tho i was just a punter... there were very excited gangs of teens at the toft stand!) Also 'show deals' and easy to read pricing .... if you got a deal going make it obvious...so busy and people walking past in swathes full of bags , limited time cos so many come on coach trips and have to make quick decisions from loads of choice (though not many crochet stands so yr good there), I struggled to see prices on a lot of indie maker stands... and some that had great deals didn't make it obvious...so like you would only know if you know, that the £60 kit was usually £95 on their website etc. Also hate to say it but lots of us ladies of a certain age need glasses...if its too small no bugger can read it and lots of peeps are too scared to come and ask xx Hope it goes well xx i exhibited there as a graduate many years ago... hope to again maybe one day biz n health permitting (learnt the hard way...dont carry too many heavy boxes! ) but in the meantime I'll settle for visiting and seeing all the awesome designer & graduate stands . Looking forward to yr post show analysis on this one too thank you for being so candid and for being a fab brit 🇬🇧 crobiz vlog type person who says it like it is 😂

Oh Bex you have definitely turned me to Yarnsmiths, I love chainette yarn and I love the colours, I see this as a beautiful cold cowl the varigated yarn. I love the self coloured yarn because it looks tonal as opposed to solid. Great work as always 🌸🌸🌸

I havent crocheted a granny square since my granny taught me how! This looks like the perfect hoose jaiket though and, more importantly, extremely portable!
