- Downtown Heights is just a short 20 minute drive from Brightmaple and offers plenty of entertainment and dining options under the bright city lights. Come explore the custom subhood I've created for my Brightmaple neighbourhood, and see some of the lots I've built and decorated for my Sims to enjoy.

Q. What are the shelves/posts you use to place objects on surfaces or that you place some objects on? How do you shift objects up and down?
A. OMSP's usually! There are many around but a lot of the ones I use are linked here. I also sometimes use the walk around and walk through blocks, or the shift everything mod.

Q. Is this lot/neighbourhood/Sim available for download?
A. For a lot, if it is up for download more than likely I have shared an unfurnished version of it, and if it was already shared before I published the video I'll link it in the description. You can always ask but I can't guarantee I'll always have a copy to save! If you see a Sim you like I'm happy to extract a clean copy of them to share. I don't share my neighbourhoods or subhoods for download.
Q. Where can I get all your CC?
A. I have close to 10GB collected over many years so that's almost impossible to answer! If you have a few specific items you're looking for I'm happy to help, please keep it reasonable though (no more than a 3-4 items per video please). I use a lot of 4t2 CC and if you search the 4t2cc tag on Tumblr, you will find TONS including items converted from TS4 CC creators. This is a great database for EA 4t2 conversions. I also have done some conversions and other CC myself.

wow your downtown is awesome, I definitely feel inspired! I'm always impressed with how you design lots that feel like real businesses, especially the rooftop bar and the movie theater! And gotta love Mrs. Crumplebottom chillin at the bar lol 😆

I agree! The mods totally help but also modern graphics cards do a lot of heavy lifting too! I upgraded my computer and card just a couple years ago, not even to anything top of the line, and noticed a big difference in appearance within my same game/CC!

Incredible! Only thing I would change is the random sushi buffet in the cinema. Any sushi that's served in such a format randomly inside a western cinema can only lead to food poisoning in real life.
what a stunning downtown. i’ve been wanting to make a downtown like this with decorations with the buildings and such but always get stuck on skyscraper placement that actually looks good and natural. Love how you have lots surrounded by buildings. that’s exactly what i’ve been trying to do with mine
Thank you! I always did too but I guess I got unstuck with this one. I tried to place the tallest buildings together and more around the edges. And then slightly smaller buildings surrounding them and more towards the middle of town. I placed down empty lots as I went so I wouldn't forget to leave space for playable lots, and to be able to keep in mind not putting any huge buildings too close to playable lots and making it hard to see while I'm on them. Placing lots down at the same time made it easier to keep in mind what the views from the lot would be too. Hope that helps!

I love this. Have you thought about creating penthouses on the top of the deco buildings using the cheat sethighestallowedlevel?
I haven't, that would be cool though! But I have built very tall buildings before with that cheat and the camera does get a bit funny, it's even a little wonky at level 4 or 5 and I have a camera mod in! So I don't know if I'd go for it personally.

@@88kayleigh Yes, I already kind of look up yesterday but what I wanted the most was the building but I don't see them in their tumblr. I know the building you're using as I'm using them for my Create A World in Sims 4, I look on the City Living and Get Famous but there is nothing.

Hi - mine is nothing very fancy! I bought it a bit over a year ago, for less than $1000 CAD altogether. It's a Lenovo Ideacentre 5 14IMB05 Desktop PC, Intel Core i5-10400 CPU, 12GB RAM, 1TB HDD + 256GB SSD. I also added a slightly upgraded graphics card to it, an ASUS (Nvidia) GE Force GT 1030.

I had to make a Sim who lives on an empty lot and he owns it! So it’s technically an owned business, just by a Sim I don’t play 😁. That way you can sell real vehicles!
