    Brian May and Roger Taylor said that Freddie was more concerned about everyone else's comfort than his own during the last weeks of his life. He didn't want them to worry about him because he had made peace with his fate.

      I met Freddie at one of the top of the pops episodes in the 70s, in the BBC bar after the filming. I complimented him on his painted nails and said I loved the colour. He left and later came up to me giving me a small bottle of nail varnish called black tulip. He was very kind and said he hoped I'd paint mine and remember him. I kept that bottle for decades, and memory cherished forever 💕💅

      @gailpittilla3240
      Incredible story.. Did you sell or lost the varnish? I guess "for decades" means you no longer have it.. And after '91 - if you had proof it's from Freddie - it would fetch a fortune at an auction. Even just a batch number corresponding to pre-1970 production and proof of him using that brand and color would get some decent bids in. And if you still have it, i'm sure everyone here would love to see it on your chanell or other profile.

      I'm sure you can find a much better role model, then Freddie😊! He had is-
      sues, that likely would leave your young children more confused than he was. Children need people w/far less drama in their lives than Freddy. It shattered Freddy' s parents when he came out. Especially his
      mother.Remem ber the movie?? Child- ren could be more confused

    Freddie is a LEGEND FOR ALL TIME!!! Nobody can come close to his vocal range, he had the highest vibrato of anyone to this day!! He was a lover of life and singer of songs as he once said. He cared for his close friends so much that he thought of them while dying, Elton John was a dear friend and in an interview Elton said the Christmas after Freddie died he received a gift from Freddie, a painting that he had told Freddie he loved very much!! So even while he knew he didn't have much time on this earth he thought of everyone he loved so dearly 💖💖💖 There will never be a Legend like Freddie Mercury! 😭😭😭

      There are opera singers who have wider range. And what's a "high" vibrato? Like high pitched or the frequency the literal vibrations are heard? Cuz neither makes sense. There are females who sing higher while singing with vibrato, and if you meant the frequency, it would sound absolute shit, if the vibrato was fast/high. He's been an amazing singer, one of the best for sure. But he was not the best at everything ever. Just like Michael Jackson is a legend, there are people who dance better still. There always is.

I had to leave because she couldn't accept why I would cry so much over someone I never met. well its because his life is written in the lyrics of that music. Not sure if it's intentional!! But this mini-docu fails miserably to mention that he is Persian! In self-exile, growing up in Inida for lack of religious freedoms in Persia in that time.. In another documentary, he referred to himsef as "Persian boy." His religon is a mix of an ancient Pagan with Islam! Moved to Zanzibar with his family, Ending up in England! Influenced by all these cultures and experiences gave us a wonderfully rich Artisitic but confused Farooq Bulsara!! His real name! Undeniabley sensitive musically sharp highly tense luxurious refined taste and unparalleled shy personality vibrant vimeer mix with unbelievable presence.. human connection!

Nothing to do with sexual preferences when I was watching queen I didn't care who was doing who or putting what where, it was the music the energy the wonderful experience of feeling like it's okay to be you because we're all in this together! So thank you to Queen and Freddie I wish them all love light and laughter in this realm and beyond xx

    1. "Love of My Life was written by Brian while "These are the Days of Our Lives" was written by Roger. The way you referenced them made it seem as if Freddie wrote them.
    2. What's with a still from "Bohemian Rhapsody at 8:02?
    3. A picture of Adam Lambert at 17:12? Why?
    4. I laughed at "Michael Jackson's professionalism in the studio..." He was letting farm animals into the studio and that led to Freddie calling his manager (John Reid) and telling him, "get me the hell out of here! There's a fucking Llama in the studio!"
    Other than those minor gripes, not a bad documentary. A whole lot better and accurate than that travesty of a biopic..LOL

    From several sources I have read, it could not have been Freddie that chose to reveal his illness, as he was not conscious or coherent at this time. Unless he gave instructions that it be made public at the time of his death (which seems unlikely given his strict private nature). It was simply physically impossible that he did so at this time, hours before his death.
