This move is so iconic. In Chile we've been calling this move "El Chupa Poto", which translates to "The Butt Sucker". El Chupa Poto has been a popular joke in the chilean SF community, from the underground arcades to the established ones like "Juegos Diana" since the 90s. The Atomic Buster a.k.a El Chupa Poto lives on as one of the most dangerous moves in fighting game history... and also an easy laugh for us chilean gamers.
In a series where we have people throwing energy from their hands, a man than can stretch his limbs teleport and breath fire, a green beast that can produce electricity, a sumo wrestler who can fly and a shape shifting monster, a muscle man jumping 10 to 30 feet in the air is almost normal. Unless you talking about EX3 than nah it’s wild me jumping outa orbit
In the Marvel vs series, I was pretty sure if you spun the dpad/joystick as much as you could, Zangief would turn red on the final piledriver. I wonder how much more damage it did.
I don't know what I love more, the versions where he does the spinebreaker over the knee, how gorgeous the SF6 version looks, or just watching Zangief do his piledriver on opponents his size or the elite few that are bigger.
Zangief was the character I used when I played the game for the very first time back in 1991. I had zero clue what I was doing and Dhalsim kicked my ass.
0:30 It's kinda sad how the special does that much damage but then when they show the super in the next segment it literally does like a tiny bit more damage...
The CA from SF6 is easily his best super. It fits Gief's persons as a wrestler the best. Oh, and the english lines are ten times better than the Japanese ones.
@@mappybc6097 The SF6 version of Gief enhanced his character by enhancing his wrestling style, something that wasnt attempted before, since SF devs were used to simply recycle the basic SF2 concept of his character (same for other veterans too). Only recently they are allowing themselves to try new things and evolve SF veterans.
@@spookytanookyit's garbage. Makes him sound like a japanese punk. English voice nails both russian mannerisms and overwhelming but also cheerful presence Zangief has.
Since I mained E. Honda I hated fighting Zangeif in the arcade because that damn screwdriver piledriver could grab you from half of the screen away and it always hit for half of your energy.
Hadouken, Shoryuken, Scorpion Spear, Power Wave, Devil's Laser Beam are all legendary special moves, but nothing is more satisfying than hit a SPD!!! This is the number one for me.
The impact on this 25% or less health-powered SPD 9:23 ... :O Is it so bad that I wanna see this be done animated but much more visually brutal? Just imagine the first hit, Gief slams his wrist across your neck, choking you, and then slams you with so much power on your neck your head explodes, or your whole body... Such an incredible CA. The shockwave is what really sells it.
That last part in sf6 the critical arts when at red health is definitely like gonna bury the opponent after spinning up so high that it should do with a special finish K.O. like from sfv though.
This TH-cam video is a great way to get familiar with video editing. It covers the fundamentals of the software and provides helpful tips and tricks. I would recommend watching the video multiple times to get a better grasp of the concepts. It's also a great way to get m
Fun fact: Zangief created this move when he was wrestling a bear and both him and the bear got caught in a cyclone.
I love that the name itself came from the Fans and Zangief Rolled with it since
The most Russian thing ever
I think you're making that up.
@@snoozeflu Nope. That's what Zangief Tells you in SF6 Word Tour.
A steroid cycle .
One of the most iconic moves in fighting game history!
Shut up drew
True, shit was so freakin hard to pull off but damn you can do so much damage

4:19 dude flew into orbit.
i love how smooth they made the transition after SPD in sf6.... instead of magically hopping back up, he rolls backwards...
Kinda like how Batista does after delivering his sit down powerbomb.
Holy shit it looks sooo good.
I kinda liked the bounce back up. He just drives the opponent so hard into the ground he bounces off the ground back to a standing position.
I just now noticed the anti-air version is a tombstone.
It’s actually a nerf. A lot of long time gief mains don’t like it because it makes it impossible to keep pressure on immediately after landing one
The guy making the thumbnails knows what he's doing.
Gays and straight players like Zangief

The EX games' version of Final Atomic Buster have always been my favorites. Something about that brutal back-cracking he adds to it is so satisfying.
This!
Also, and the flight to space
I love how you can easily identify the era of gaming by the soundtrack and audio effects alone.
The reach in the old Street Fighters is totally broken. The dude just teleport you to his arms.
like the hands of jehuty
you thought the can get a swipe and you got teleported instead
Who wouldn't want to finish in Zangief daddy's big arms?
@@Yuiichiiroquote of the year
😂😂😂
8:40 I had only heard the English version until now, but I adore just how extra the Japanese voice goes.
As always...
I've always liked this move because a regular one of these would probably paralyze you for life and the auper/ultra version would kill you.
I'm more impressed on how the opponents are getting up so fast after being spin-slammed on their neck
that's the stupidity of these games
Still one of the most awesome and coolest looking moves in Street Fighter
SF4 Zangief is the GOAT. He was a pleasure to play back then.
He wrecked house. Loved playing as him. I found only Ryu and Zagat were tough to play against with him. Maybe Akuma
in the good ol days of street fighter 2, seeing anyone perform that move in battle was an awe inspiring moment
Sure did, it’s as memorable to me as the hadouken or bird kick
9:09 Indeed evolved.
5:00 Poor little servbot got pummeled lol
He didn't deserve it! 😢
They're all pretty brutal, but 4:00/6:00 was just flat-out hilarious! 5:01 is definitely me as a kid vs my cousins Cabbage Patch dolls.
Those SFEX are made by Arika, not Capcom. Some of their Critical Arts really hilarious indeed! 😂
9:08 nice...
One of my favourite moves to pull off as a kid
"Nobody gone talk about how high Zangief can jump for his size?!"
Dude never skips leg day! Or any day really lol!

The thumbnail looking crazy as hell! 😂
When everyone pause the game on Chun-Li's Spinning Bird Kick, i pause the game on the Zangief Piledriver when this bubble butt appears

That thumbnail is perfect lol
32 años repartiendo Piledrivers, Zangief besto grapperl !!
Goddamn EX Gief version is so OP that he’s literally Piledriving you into the orbit lololololol 🤣😂
The Last one VS Blanka, it's like referencing their match up in SF2 animated movie.

Whats crazy is somebody hopping back to their feet after being suplexed 2+ times then piledrivered....fight over, you got it bro LOL
it sucks that the newest street fighters don't do final atomic busters

Bro knew what he’s doing when he created the thumbnail 😂
It's called clickbait. Look it up.
If you spin the joystick in the versus games, Zangief will turn beet red during the FAB and it does more damage.
Still the most coolest move in Street Fighter oh and that damage in SF ex sheesh

I watched this video on a whim. I didn't realize that I had never seen his Crital Art in SF6 before. Holy crap!
Never realized how similar Terry’s design is to Red from Pokémon. Can’t unsee it now.
Zangief voice: Quick Change the Channel. I got that quote from the Street Fighter Movie.
Now I know why 9:07 is the most replayed part of the video, thanks guys.
I can see that the thumbnail was made like that intentionally
Zangief created this move to peek at them gurlz
i love how they just get hit and then come back like nothing happened, especially m. bison 😭😭😭
My favorite character from Street Fighter!.
Have been playing this game since the SF2 arcade cabinet & still have yet to pull this move off 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️😂😂😂
I didn't realise just how many of the SF games he's been in for some reason
this move he can smell a variation of cakes

Masterpiece ever. Great
1:43 Zangief cameraman is wildin'
That thumbnail crazy 😂😂😂
TIL SFV Gief was the first and only version so far of Gief that left him close to his opponent after an SPD
Cammy never dissolve
Edut: fuck autocorrect, I mean disappoint
In X-Men vs. Street Fighter, when Rogue uses power drain, she absorbs this attack and can execute screw piledriver
Did Zangief become a WWE wrestler in street fighter 6 or something? Looks fire though. 😂🔥
Short arm clothesline to an F5 to a spinning pile driver. Brutal.
That's our Zangief.
Muito legal jogar com o Zanguief 😂😅😅,super apelação kkkkk
I like it when sf4 incorporated the back breaker from EX

Nice thumbnail choice

You forgot to mash the buttons and rotate the joystick on MvC 1 & 2 so he can turn red and take a little bit more damage.
