Being a freight pilot it’s remarkable how you manage to avoid night flying. 😂
Very lucky
Gonna be tough in October
I’m from Omaha, every time the river floods like it did not too long ago the entire city smells like manure for about three or four months. And great choice on M’s pub!!
Ahha, that makes perfect sense. We literally mentioned the river on approach it was crazy flooded! And yes M’s is so good!
Thanks for the videos I like the trips that you do I love the Boeing's love the scooter kym
These vlogs are really Great!!!
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching!
These are the videos you like before even watching 👍
Hahah ayyy thanks so much!
Nice flog Pete..Was just a midway and one of southwest 37’s got pushed by a small tornado that went past the airport and a loader got stuck under it..needless to say it oos for inspection..never a dull moment… operations stop and go…safety first buddy✈️
Oh wow that’s wild!
This is so cool, whilst watching this I was doing work for FedEx last night and collected some air freight from EMA, probably off a 75/767 ✈️💫😇
Ayyy so cool!
Look forward to these every Sunday. Great Vlog Pete.
Thanks for the support !
As always love ur videos!!! 🙏☀️🙏☀️🙏
Appreciate your support!
I love watching pilot it's just rewarding for me knowing that pilot Pete has made it to Omaha Nebraska and I have leukemia so it makes the time go faster❤
I hope you had a great trip and enjoy your week
Thanks, you too!
Great trips loved the scenery and those bright blue skies!🎉🎉
Glad you enjoyed!
Pete don't know how you run 4.0 speed workout 4:30 in the summer and somehow you and the hair still looking good afterwards lolol
Hahaa I showered after 💇
Thanks!
Hey thanks so much!!
Good luck with the marathon and love the scenery
Thanks!
That's cool about the break temps. Know we know when you have to let them cool after a RTO.
Yep, def would have to after an RTO
Great video man. I watch the Bachelor with my wife and happen to be an aviation enthusiast haha. These videos are as good if not better than Big Ern. Cheers
Ayyy thanks so much for the compliment and for watching!
Fun to see what you do during your time in NYC. You have totally ruined me at Trader Joes. After your last video about your ninja skills I can't check out with a straight face. But that's why your my favorite pilot.
Hahaha 🥷🥷
Wow, you should see our PRM at UPS. Ours have seats and locker space under the bunks.
Amazing video, Pete!
Many thanks!
As an Omaha native M's is terrific
So good!!
W vid as usual
Thank you ! 🙌🏻
Hey there Pete, interesting that when you’re high on the glide slope you would drop the landing gear to create drag, but isn’t it true that you can only go so many knots with the gear down?
Great video as usual, closing in on 20k subs!❤✈️
Yep you’re absolutely correct, but we were below 270 kts, which is max speed to extend the gear
Good video. Good luck with your work out schedule you have..
Thank you!
Those Earbuds Would Be The Beats Powerbeats Pros!!!1
Confirmed!
Give us advices and different beauty things captain in every video ❤
Thanks

Great video! How often do you personally operate ETOPS flights?
I’ve done 4 so far
If you sell Good Morning Beautiful People t-shirts, I'm buying one lol.
Hahaha! 🙌🏻
🎉Shelby County... Hi officer....
Hi Pete, great videos. FedEx have a massive operation out of Paris, from which they operate daily flights all over Europe. Is that something that would interest you ? How would you go about requesting those flights ? Would it require additional training ?
Thanks so much!
Yes, I’ve flown out of there a few times. CDG-Milan, Dublin, Madrid, was so much fun. Unfortunately the trips go very senior to haven’t flown them awhile
Hey Pete. Thanks for all the content you put out. I'm currently making a career 2.0 transition into becoming a pilot. I've been in the Air Force for the past 13 years and wanted to go the civilian route of becoming a pilot. My question to you is do you suggest taking all the writtens before starting flight school?
Hey, great video first of all! You motivate and inspire me a lot. I wanted to ask that to be a Pilot for FedEx can I apply directly or I need experience in a Regional and then apply to FedEx?
You can always apply, but prior experience is almost always needed
@@pilotpetefly perfect thanks mate! Also knowing many languages has its plus right?
I might go to Omaha just to try M’s Pub!!
Worth it !
I live in Memphis so this seeing the FedEx planes is nothing new haha, dream job is to fly for FedEx. I’m currently 17 about to start on my ppl, u got any tips? Anything you recommend? Thank you for these videos, they are inspirational.
Don’t focus on the dream airline, focus on the dream job, and everything will fall into place. Get your hours, stay out of trouble, and build a good resume outside of flying (volunteer, business degree, etc.). See ya in the skies soon!
@@pilotpetefly to me as long as I get the job, no matter where I end up, I wouldn’t mind. I’m studying commercial aviation in college, through that I’ll get all my license and would just need flight hours after school. Thank you for replying!
You seem to stay to domestic runs. Do you ever take int'l runs?
That scooter is very convenient for where you live no doubt! 😎
I do yep, just recently I’ve needed certain days off and the DH’s to and from EWR have made my life a lot easier
There used to be a lot of dairy farms out by Mesa Gateway Airport that are being replaced by houses or warehouses. They did smell bad.
Stinky
@@pilotpetefly Very🤣🤣
Your tan tops are cool
Thanks!
@@pilotpetefly your welcome
Future ambitions. Upgrade to Captain or move over to 777?
Great question, if I had to answer today I’d say 777. I want to see the world, and do it while getting paid
#3 means pretty hot and #4 means to hot!
Haha pretty much. And 5 means REALLY hot
Is there ever the possibility that the deadhead changes and they ask you to operate a leg back to Memphis scuppering your chance to have that paid extra day at home in NYC?
Yep, always that chance. I would still get that dead fare money, and would then just have to buy a ticket MEM-Home
✈️❤
Do you fly with the same folks or is the crew constantly changing
Changes, but since repeat flight crews every so often
When you bid trips, do you know the routes or are you bidding work days and you get routes last minute?
We know the routes, all the info is included when bidding
😊
How often on sweeper duty do you actually get called to a different airport?
It’s never happened to me. ✊🏻🪵
How long until you get the captain upgrade?
Impossible to know , hopefully sooner than later tho!
Pete what is ur workout split?
Workout 6-7 days a week. Running 5-6 days week (marathon training). Chest. Arms/shoulders. Legs. Back. Repeat
Hi
👋🏻
Hello Pete im thinking of becoming a Airline pilot do you think I should go through a university or go to the academy that is partners with the airline?
Personal preference. I went college route. But if all you want to do is fly and don’t care about having a degree or back up. Get it out hours and get flying!
@@pilotpetefly Ok is college a better approach then?
You are my husband
when are we getting married? ha
👋🏻KSRQ☀️🌴🇺🇸✈️
Great spot! 🏝️
@@pilotpetefly Thanks Born KCMH lived here since I was 10 now 55 in between here and KBNA living my dreams through your vids thanks
