- Hi everyone I am Diane and my blog can be found at www.craftsbythebow.blogspot.com . Today is just a quick and easy post it note holder that is great for craft fairs, little gifts for neighbours, co-workers, teachers etc. So simple to make and a cute little item to have on hand.
These sell great for teacher appreciation gifts in the Spring and co-worker gifts at Christmas. I keep a couple in my desk drawer for "missed" birthdays too!
what a great idea!!
just found your website. Loved you ideas for the small post it notes. You are very good at explaining instructions too. Look forward to more recent classes on line.
Thanks for the tutorial, very cute.
Thanks for walking us through the steps. I watched another one and you had to buy her template. She did attach it in a way that is easier though. She put some foam tape on 1/2 of the back of the closure image and then attached it to the long piece so that the shorter piece just slide under the image which held the container closed without velcro or a tie.
Thank you for sharing, I’m going to go make some now
Have fun!
Beautiful holder; love your paper choices❗
Glad you like them!
good job and very pretty. Thanks.
I’m so happy I found you, love it can’t wait to make . Thank you so much ☺️
Welcome!!
The design is beautiful but your voice is so pleasant haha, made it all the more better. Thank you for the tutorial!
Thank you - not sure about the voice but glad you liked the project 😊
Bellisimo Trabajo😍
thankyou!
Hi! I love you tutorial.
What is your card stock?
Very nice
Thank you...yor papers are so lovely.
Adorable Diane xx
How pretty! I just love this paper and your post-it note holders. (Such a great use of scraps!)
Thank you so much!
Super cute! Love the paper you used.
thankyou - I have a little of the paper left but really wish I had bought more at the time lol! Enjoy your crafting!
Just bump into your video. Gorgeous post it note. Will definitely try it. I also subscribed to your channel.
Lovely to have you join us Margarita. If you have any questions just ask
Did I miss the measurements for the back of the note holder? Love the video! Could you give me the measurements for the back dsp is it 2 and 1/2 by 2 and 1/2
Hi Robin - sorry I only just was notified of this the DSP is 3 1/4 wide for the back. I will try to update the video using different size post its too! Hope you were able to make the project xx
Lovely !!
Hi Diane, the ones that are cut at 3 and 31/4 seem to be too big. Am I doing something wrong cause I remeasured everything and I followed everything as you said.
could it possibly be that you have a different size post it note stack? I know different places sell them in slightly different sizes.
Same here… l ended up doing 3.25x2.5
Same problem Ruined the first one. 3.25 x 2.5 works@@AT-ox9np
really cute :) hope you're feeling better and on some antibiotics . Thanks for sharing :)
is there a certain type of cardstock to use? I made one but had a hard time with my velcro dots sticking to the paper. I used bottle glue, all I had on hand is it better to use tape?
I simply use the Stampin' Up! card stock or the thick Whisper white card stock if I need something a little heavier.
Where can I buy this washi tape in United Kingdom
How thick card
Even I get that issue when I punch the corners it’s doesn’t give me rounded shape
good to know - thought it was just me lol!
How much would you sell them for please just need an idea. Many thanks x
I think it depends on the post it notes that you use - mine were not dollar store and the RSVP pens are expensive here too. I charged $2.50 or 2 for $4 which probably worked put about 50c profit per item. If you can use cheaper product, get sale items and retired DSP it would work out better.
Hi Jan - I sell these (without the pen) for 50p or 70c (US) without the pen at craft fairs
So these aren’t reusedable?
They are
I have a stupid question but can you use glue sticks
Not stupid at all - I often use a glue stick and it works just fine!

Dear Diane, so excited to make this post it note holder. But, the dimensions are wrong. I had to redo it and change my dimensions. Thank you
I made mine with the same measurements and mine were fine perhaps it was you measured it wrong just saying
@@felbrook There is a size difference in paper note pads. A difference between post-it brand and Dollar store brands.
I made it also and found the dimensions to be off also. Easily fixed, ;)
