We drank the water there, straight from the stream, back in the late '70's. (Sigh.)
The drone footage of the waterfall was really beautiful. I have lots of good memories of that area. I may never get back there...so nice to see it again. Thank you for taking us along! Names out there can be tricky. It's Shah-SHOW-nee, Ab-sah-ROW-kah and Hah-JIGH-rah , a soft j, like jam. Hejira is another word for an Exodus. Thanks again Richie, beautiful work!

Your narrative, such a hauntingly sad story of people (Native Americans!) running away through such difficult terrain, the sinister determination of the "bandits" pursuing them, the music in the background and these beautiful areas, all of it touched me very much. Richie, you illustrated this tragic story in a masterful way! I really liked this beautiful hidden waterfall and the fact that thanks to the music you added, you led us to another world filled with peace. The areas you showed are so vast that they take my breath away. God gave you the desire to travel for a reason. He knew that during your travels you would reach the top of EVERY mountain and the bottom of EVERY valley and EVERY cave your eyes caught, creating unique experiences for millions of people that they would not even touch without your videos. To say "thank you" is not enough...but that's all I can do. THANK YOU!❤

Love that canyon! At the far end it is not uncommon to see Mountain goats as well! The road continues and gets much worse and will eventually climb over the top to "top of the world" area on highway 212. There is a little hill off of the paved road going in...before the turn for Clark...and before you turn into the canyon- it is on private land... but that little hill is where General Miles met up with some of the warriors from Chief Joseph's tribe and there was a battle there. Great video!

What makes this video a work of art is the back story that you added, it puts into perspective how rugged the landscape is, and how resilient the natives were to be able to survive / travel through it for so long.
It is a sad legacy that the European settlers forced them off of their native lands, for what? So that they can feel more powerful?

Great video Richie! I live in Idaho just 45 minutes from White Bird but on the opposite side of the Clearwater River. Lewis, Clark and Sacajawea walked the ridge across the road from my house. The History of the Nez Perce is all over this valley. I live within the borders of the Reservation. After you are done tracing the Tribe's steps up to Canada, you should turn West and come to Missoula then over Lolo pass and down the hwy 12 valley. You can trace Lewis and Clark's steps all the way to Lewiston, Idaho and Clarkston, Wa which are at the confluence of the Clearwater and Snake Rivers. The Nez Perce have a museum you should visit on the way to Lapwai, pronounced Lap Way. It's a little town where a lot of the Tribe lives.

JailBreak, maybe you have already done it; my goal is the Moffat RR Line up the Front Range, Colorado SR93 N/S route from west of Broomfield, follow SR93 up from SR72 to Eldorado Springs SR170, trying to catch a train traversing the 2% climb in & out of 7 tunnels before it goes into Moffat tunnel #8 headed west. I don't have a drone, don't plan to get one. There is an Amtrak train, #5, that leaves Denver around 8 AM, should be great in the morning light. The track is 2 miles west of SR93, might be stretching the range of your DJI; the only closer access I have found is via hiking trails accessible from Boulder Cty 67, just SW of Eldorado Spgs. I have a few good still photos of that stretch I'd share with you.

Beautiful my brother, legit just awesome! Everything that is going on in the world and if a person lived off of the land in the middle of nowhere they would have no idea what was taking place. I believe that's the real goal of our existence, giving thanks to The Most High for every day, meal, and blessing, of each moment and trusting Him prayerfully to make a path unto death. Finishing our race as Paul said so to speak. But I don't know that's just what I feel deep inside my gut when I'm in those environments that you just shared with us.YAH's day to you and yours brother, Armor always on.....

Jail Break Overlander, Richie that was amazing. Your photography, the drone operation, your clear narration, of the Nez Perez's, flight, and thier exodus from Washington state, too North Central Montana, to Canada, while being pursued by the US Government, was just awesome Bud. As for Clark's Fork Canyon, it is a truly marvelous place indeed. I've been there numerous times myself over the last forty years. It still amazes me by its grandness, and ruggedness. I will have too go there again soon, before I no longer can. Great video Richie, and THANKS a bunch. Wyoming, Robert, 🇨🇦🇺🇸🇨🇦🇺🇸🤠🤠🙏🙏👍👍👍👍. YFI. I live in the Bighorn Basin, about 80 miles due East of the Canyon.

That secret waterfall is so beautiful, no words can describe properly, IMO. Thank you for taking us on this tour, Richie. It's very sad to see this picturesque country slip away now, over another lie. What the Anglos did to the native people here has always been painfully disturbing to me. These were brave and highly spiritual people with knowledge of the land that is unsurpassed.

Richie, This is a great piece of art work you have created (obviously with the fathers help). I fear that now...today...we are the indians, and Globalists are the cavalry. I thank you and love your incredible ability to be so diverse. Much love from Dutchess County NY
