Fun Fact: Before Meeting Plagueis, Palpatine was always intent on becoming a Sith Lord. The trouble he us3e to get himself into as a youth involved purchasing illegal texts from them. He simply needed the training from Plagueis, all so he could overpower him in the end. Ironic...The Apprentice proved to be smarter than the master after all. Yet was it worth it? He list the person who could have taught him immortality, instead of relying on Essence Transfer in both The Rise of Skywalker and thr Dark Empire Comic Series, both of which see him fail in a humiliating way, losing everything.
@@michaelkaduck1915 Exactly it wasn't worth it because let's be honest, at this point plagueis wouldve more than likely beat sidious in lightsaber combat. When plagueis was training sidious on mygeeto, sidious actually tried choking plageuis, but plugeis had instant speed and kept teleporting away from him.
@@michaelkaduck1915 if the sith in the bane lineage actually followed the rule of two instead of trying to overcome it in egotistical quests then the sith quite well have possibly made it through and succeeded.
@zohlore Exactly. The true tragedy of Darth Plagueis was that he repeated the same mistake Darth Tenebrous did: Believing that he was above the Rule of Two, and underestimating someone he thought was beneath him. Then Sidious made the same mistake with Vader and Luke, leading to him being thrown down a reactor shaft. And he still didn't learn, so fueled by pride and ego that he created a son and granddaughter who ended up destroying him again on Exegol. Absolute power blinded him, just like it did his master before him.
So this is it. This is how it happened. This is really powerful. I heard this from Stupendous :) Sidious was incredible ego maniac. He actually thought he was Sith'ari
Goddam this is a pleasure to listen to. the music the dry rasping star-wars pseudo-British accent of the Sidious. When he says 'dark side', it sounds so evil and full of malice, it massages the ears.
The true credit goes to the audiobook creator. James Luceno is an amazing writer and needs to be hired again along with Daniel Davis. But man nothing even comes close to Mathew Stover's Episode 3 novelization. DIsney needs to stop being foolish and rehire these great writers.
Yea thats true. Either Palpatine, or Bane is the true Sith'Ari. Anakin could technically even be considered the Sith'Ari and Chosen One. Its a very interesting concept that I wish Disney expanded upon instead of wasting millions of dollars on Acolyte. I havent even watched a single episode of it lmao.
@@maleexile9053 It wouldnt surprise me in that case. Bane was also very cunning and was able to trick one of the most powerful masters of his time. I dont think a lot of fans know that skere kann the leader of the brotherhood of darkness was a former jedi. As a jedi he was able to take down some of the most powerful sith warlords of his time. Even Bane admitted Kann wasnt weak but he was foolish. For Bane to do what he did and in the end basically have his plan succeed does make him the most likely candidate to hold the title of the Sith'Ari. Even Plagueis and Palpatine worked off of his foundation.
Lmao i saw that later but its all good. Im also going to be doing a give away at 1000 subscribers possibly the bane trilogy. Let me know if you have any requests.
It’s crazy that sidious mocks plagues but sidious was to afraid to fight plagues head on 😂 . At least Vader went hands on when killing sidious . Sidious was the real coward . Heck even maul fought sidious and even though maul lost the fight , at least he had the courage to fight sidious head on .
Thats true. Its really the only way like you said he wouldve ever killed Plagueis honestly. After reading the novel, it seemed like Plagueis was a lot more powerful and knowledgeable than Palpatine. Palpatine was just more cunning and politically astute.
@@zohloreyes my friend , sidious even admitted that plagues would kill him . If you really think about it , sidious did not surpass plagues in power , at least not in physical combat .
