    I love how on every floor of the house there’s a little lounge area and I love the big open windows and the classic design of the house!!

    Love the flow of the house and all those windows to bring in that natural light. Also, the music track was a good choice. Love it!

      I’ve seen worse. This I could live with! I like it when they at least try to keep the original exterior of the home instead of bulldozing it over and building a modern monstrosity next to all those smaller older homes with character.

  • @thebastardgift
    @thebastardgift 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Per the front exterior architect, I'm guessing the house was built in the early 1900's. It speaks of a rich intact history. Well maintained. The rear of the exterior did not marry the front, but overall the interior was just dripping in beauty.

    I've been looking at these older homes hoping to see some older charm. None of them have been restored, only renovated. This is a century home, yet everything is painted white to include the beautiful woodwork and moldings. It seems impossible to find a house that still has the integrity of a hundred years ago.

    I hate how people buy beautiful character houses then rip the character out of them , really pisses me off.
    If you want a contemporary house buy a new build

    • @94110mission
      @94110mission 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      How is the backyard a deal breaker? It’s not like it’s covered in weeds, and it has a nice seating area. Do you expect an expansive backyard in an urban neighborhood?

    • @mikvas8088
      @mikvas8088 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@94110mission for 3.5 million a private and big backyard is expected.

    • @94110mission
      @94110mission 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      mikvas Then you should confine your home search to the suburbs where you’re most likely to find that, instead of looking at a home in an urban neighborhood and complaining about it.

    • @mikvas8088
      @mikvas8088 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    It sold for $3.5 million, what's funny Is I grew up in a 6,000 square foot 1900's home and it cost my parents $125,000 In 2000, it had 7 bedrooms, 1.5 baths giant rooms, 4 fire places, 4 floors, huge backyard, etc and we sold it in 2010 for $141,000 lmao. We lived only 4 hours from Toronto!
