This video deserved millions subscribers!!👍👏🇵🇭
why thank you... maybe one day haha
The shark is only "chill" if you are near one that has been fighting on a rod for so long. Bull sharks are very aggressive, territorial fish. People should remember that before they wade out into the water to interact with one.
Beautiful animals, but should be admired from a distance.
What a beautiful big bull shark 🦈 she is stunning..so pretty 🦈🦈🦈♥️
Amazing.
I personally don't like sport fishing, but if you're going to do it, this has got to be the most humane, gentle way to do it! Actually looks like a big, fat female bronze whaler or dusky shark rather than a bull shark. You can tell by the shape of the dorsal fin and the slightly more pointed snout. Bullies have a slightly shorter, more blunt snout and are much stockier, and the dorsal fin has a more pointed tip rather than that more curved back edge that bronze whalers, silky sharks, dusky sharks, blue sharks, and other pelagic whalers have. Awesome experience though! Hope she wasn't too tuckered out from the fight!
Yes we ended up finding out is was a species called a "dusky whaler shark" so you're almost spot on with your call there mate!
The end of the video, you and the bull shark in peace, calm, as it swims off incredible.
awesome!
I'm so jealous, I miss the beach so much.
this was awesome thank you for sharing and love the respect you show when handling this massive girl
Cheers buddy glad you enjoyed the content :-)
👍👍👍👍from 🇮🇳in 🇧🇭
Just found your channel. Excellent video. Subscribed.
Yewwww! Welcome to the channel :-)
Awesome Video! What 4 Camera do you use?
thanks mate just running a gopro :-)
How much line does your reel hold and what test LBS line do you have on it?
Hey mate I'm just running 80lb on that reel I think with the braid backing it holds about 1000 yards
@@CoastalChaosAdventures
I never thought that would sufficient line, thought you may need like 200lb test. How much did the shark spooled out of the reel before you landed it??
What camera are you using and are you saturating the colors in post? Awesome videos. I wish we had that kind of water on the Texas coast.
Glad your enjoying the content mate!! Just running a gopro mate nothing special I think that's a hero 8 for that trip so not even a new one haha That's our natural colours for the sunset and water etc... just lucky to live in an amazing part of the world I guess :-)
@@CoastalChaosAdventures I'm a retired photographer and have yet to own a go-pro since all of my work was still photography. Y'all have quality content. Thanks.
@@rickdavis2235 cheers mate glad you enjoy it! I actually just purchased a Nikon Z series of which i'm doing a bit of filming and B roll so you may see a bit of a difference in video quality of the Vlogs moving forward... hopefully for the better haha
@@CoastalChaosAdventures
Nikon makes great cameras. I shot NFL football for the Kansas City Chiefs and 99% of the shooters on the sidelines were shooting Canon euipment which is what I've shot since the DSLR's first came out. Up until then, I shot a Nikon F100 film body. I shot a swimwear catalog in the Bahamas and came back with over 800 chromes to scan. That's when I decided it was time to go digitial. Looking forwar do seeing what the Nikon can do. I've fot a friend who shoots wildlife and he switched from Canon to Sony. They're really picked up their game but priced themselves out of my reach. lol Enjoy!
yesss that was the main reason for me going Nikon over cannon and sony... the price point with a good lens on the others was wayyy out of my tight budget haha maybe one day if youtube ever takes off for us ill upgrade haha
Great job! I'd like to be there with yours.
Thanks legend! Glad you enjoyed it :-)
Just got back for dinner from the whisperer.
I've never seen a shark look so defeated. Like, "yeah yeah, pet me and let me go before my buddies see this."
My thoughts. So defeated
lol
The bull shark after it gets back in the water: *yeah, about what just happened-*
First time I've ever seen a catch and release of a bull shark like that. Brilliant mate!
Cheers legend!
Normally is Bull shark angry and wild. I guess this is shark sick.
Bull sharks are mostly chill after fighting a good hour plus , it took all the fight out of her! That girl appeared to be about 500lbs
What an amazing place
That is by far the most chilled unhook and release I have ever seen. 👌
haha you're not wrong... maybe it knew it was on camera haha very well behaved!
Such a sick video brother, you are living a great life. Keep it up mate 🤙
Cheers legend! Been following you for a while now some pretty cool content yourself! might have to get you up this way for a fish some time
@@CoastalChaosAdventures for sure brother, would love to come out and film an adventure with you sometime.
@@CoastalChaosAdventures wow this is by far the best land shark video I have ever seen and I’ve watch a lot of them. U treated the animal very respectful and was able to remove the hook, what a legend. Glad I found your channel, I’ll start my binge watching
@@CoastalChaosAdventures congratulations your videos are very good!..directly from brazil for everyone watching you.
🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾
Love the respect and care you showed to the big girl mate. That's how encounters with wildlife should be.
Cheers mate glad you enjoyed it :-)
That bullshark must’ve been a Buddhist
hahaha so chill
Crego call of duty
Quality content. Glad I stumbled upon this vid. Shoutout to the Algorithm
haha yewww!! it worked in our favour for a change lol welcome to the channel mate :-)
I fish locally around Burrum, at Fraser, and during the sail between. I've encountered many sharks, and have not yet seen or been a part of a release as gentle as this. Granted, she was exhausted, but hats off to you both nonetheless. Thanks for encouraging kindness in our beautiful home town. Hope to see you out sometime 🙌
Thank you !! we're always out and about so my bump in to each other some time :-)
I'm moving up there can you take me fishing
Nice way to spend a day mate.
indeed it is :-)
😱😱😱🦈🦈🦈
That shark is massive
@Hania ZHONG ellow
Mate!! Everything about this video is awesome, beautiful water and beach, drinks on the beach with some good food, wicked cutting board, Aussie dingo 🤙, and an insane but calm shark which you guys handled with such care 👍 keep it up 🎣
Cheers legend glad you appreciate the content :-) it was an experience too cool not to share with everyone!
That location is awesome and your not wrong about a moment you just can't not share around, I can't believe how calm she was with you guys.
Oh my God..that was the most awesome experience I've seen in a long time....hook out, calm release, beautiful sunset, cold beer to drink it all in....... priceless........
Cheers mate glad you enjoyed it! :-)
Probably the most kindest and respectful catch and release I have ever seen, An yes I absolutely agree that sharks are beautiful creatures.
Glad you enjoyed it mate :-)
@@CoastalChaosAdventures 😁👍
She is the MOST chill bully I've ever seen. She is just relaxing
Sure is! we find if you keep chilled around them they seem to do the same :-)
She must be exhausted hehehe. But thank you for releasing her.
Remember that guy who was filming bulls in knee deep water and one of them decided to take his calf with him.
hahaha yea mate I do remember that! never turn you're back on them that's for sure hahaha
That was a small one, this one would literally break you in half or rip your leg off in a few seconds, they have he strongest jaw bite of all sharks in the world. If they hadn’t exhausted it it would have been to fatal to even go near it in knee deep waters. Great film
@@CoastalChaosAdventures your* back (sorry very annoying i know; thx for the amazing video, crazy. . xx
earned a like and sub after that video mate, amazing catch and release what a sick video
Cheers legend!! welcome to the channel!
How lucky are we to live in this beautiful country!! Beach, beers, dingoes, sharks and a perfect sunset why would you want to live anywhere else!
definitely not mate we are super spoilt!
Keep them coming mate it gives us something to look forward to in lockdown
Forgot to mention the sheilas..
Shark's like... I'm too exhausted to eat you right now, I'll just be on my way.

Great job👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed it buddy!
I nominate these two as worlds coolest couple.
hahahaha too kind!
The best release of a shark I have ever seen, beautiful work mate
Cheers buddy! :-)
Was a pretty shit release honestly. I’d be ashamed if I released a shark like that.
From one fisho to another, you guys remind me how good life really is. Can't thank you enough for that. Hope you have many more days like these.
Thanks mate hope you can get out and in to a few adventures yourself :-)
This was an experience. I love fishing so much and this made me feel some kind of way. thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Mate that is the best most chilled catch and release I have ever seen, especially considering her size I'd have had a stain in my pants. Seriously well done mate!
hahaha cheers mate glad you enjoyed it :-)
I love how chilled the shark is and how casual they are about the catch 😂
@@abab-ml1ym hahahahaha mate, go eat some fresh fish or a nice juicy steak. It might make you feel better and appreciate fishing that’s been around since the stone ages and that they’re doing it right and not cutting off its fins and letting it sink to the bottom of the sea. Honestly there’s better things to have a winge about in this world
of course scary, but at the same time so beautiful creatures of millions of years of existence and evolution. we, humans, are very little things.
Fantastic video. Thank you for respecting the animal. The shark and both of you are way cool! Cheers from Northern California.
thank you!! :-) glad your enjoying the content over there :-)
noahs ark in real life but he survives on one island for a day with a wife

I’ve loved sharks since I was very young, and I’ve seen just about every good shark video there is but this is so damn cool.
That’s was amazing, everything about the full ending to this was a dream come true

@@CoastalChaosAdventures Thankyou
Quality time with the Xtra special person in your life, pristine location, great food, lots of laughs, a visit from a native puppy, a text book catch and release (with a complimentary pat) of an amaizing creature............You pair are what make this country great !!! 👍
awww cheers for the kind words mate!! much appreciated!
Your too underrated dude.. great catch!
Thank you :-) we're only just starting out so hopefully well grow as we get some more content up :-)
Almost 50 years ago as a young teenager a friend and I would land base fish for Bronze Whalers using his fathers game rod and a harness tied to a tree. One of us would paddle the baitfish out on a surfboard and hurriedly paddle back, we would then smoke a joint and wait for the action.

Awesome video and amazing creature thanks for the vid mate keep up the awesome work.
Glad you enjoyed it mate :-) Thanks for the kind words
Dusky whaler not a bull shark 🤘. Fight like hell. Good work
yea i've had a few say that i'll know for next time now... been a long time since i've thrown a shark line in haha the runs were pretty insane!!~
Wow just wow....big bull. Gorgeous beach...thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it
Beautiful!
The shark didn't attack him, how? Here in Brazil, Recife entering the water dies
Cracking vid mate!
Cheers legend! :-)
Stunning footage. What a paradise. Greetings from Louisiana!
We are definitely in a pretty part of the world! try to make the most of what we have on our own doorstep :-) welcome to the channel!
Wow amazing. AMAZING YOU DESERVE 10million subs if not more. Beautiful creature very misunderstood.
hahahaha maybe one day lol thank you for the kind words glad you enjoyed the content :-)
how is the shark so calm, was it tired? also i would freak if i was in the water with that thing
hahaha they aren't as agile in shallow water so it is a pretty controlled situation. Good old gravity takes hold of the larger ones when they aren't fully suspended in a body of water so they tend to stay pretty calm so long as you don't go dragging them around by the tail.
That was fucking cool! She was feeling your chilled vibes..
sure was... super chilled :-)
This is one of the greatest video ive ever seen, the shark was so gentle and u took the hook out of its mouth that was so good.
Thank you!
Beautiful experience. Wow. I watched the whole video. Really enjoyed it. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the kind words :)
The way you handled that bull, WOW more anglers could learn something from you
Never seen anything like this. 400 lb bulls hark in 3 ft of water. Just eased up and sat there and get petted. Bulls are more aggressive than Whites. Well done. Beautiful sunset. The she just eases off. Never seen anything like it. You are blessed.
Thanks my man glad you enjoyed it! :-)
Amazing respect for the way you handled that shark.
Thanks mate :-)
Lol thats a dangerous shark right there, these pair have a awesome attitude and a handle on how to treat these animals but amatuers should not think that being knee deep with a big bull shark is kool and safe its fucking very very dangerous ,ive caught a few but never 1 that big as a bycatch never targeted its good to see them swim away ,i wouldnt play around in that water if it was murky hahahaha great vids
haha Glad you're enjoying the content mate! Yess murky water isn't the best to handle these things in haha
Wow this is truly Amazing...I always thought all sharks are aggressive especially Bull shark. But so far this one is calm, mellow and beautiful!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️
Oi
This always impresses me, I've never seen any footage of bull so large or strong, she must have made both your arms feel like cooked spaghetti😄
Haha definitely mate! Was tals first ever big shark too !!
In the end becomes a peaceful moment.
Wow fantastic video mate, spectacular scenery and colours, catch a release a chilled bully, life is truley a beach, thanks for sharing.

Are you sure it was a bully,I think it looked like a type of whaler, beautiful animal though and good release mate well done
I've had a few seasoned shark fisherman comment saying it was a big dusky whaler so now I have learned a new species! haha might have to go round two and see if we can get a bully lol
