Great episode guys! Awesome to see Xbox news covered with the patented GOP game-focused level headed vibes. I'm a recovering Xbot turned Sony Pony, thanks to friend of the show Ricky MonstaPontez, and I just want some of these slept-on gems to be played by more people. I played Quantum Break last year and Sunset Overdrive this year for the first time and they definitely hold up. I'd love those games and Ryse to get more shine. I may be all PlayStation and PS5 these days, but I'll always pay respect to the big ol VCR Xbox One era. Also much love to Sean, hope all is well!
Steam idea is cool but I don't understand what xbox gets out of that. Unless Steam is willing to give xbox a cut of games sold when gamers buy off the handheld and would Xbox require online play when on steam to need gamepass- steam just lets you play online... Just issues and agreements they would have to iron out with Steam. Be interesting to see how that would work out because xbox isn't going to allow it if they aren't getting a significant cut to make it worth it. !st time watching the show. Enjoyed it. I kinda figured from the moment the first 4 games got ported to PS that Xbox was gearing up to go all in multi platform. Xbox is a dying brand and this was the “break glass in case of emergency” decision that would at least supplement the brand for Microsoft. But more importantly: My daughter was born Sunday the 17th! My wife is an absolute trooper putting up with 30+ hours of labor and delivering our perfect baby. I’m writing this in the post birth room trying to prepare for the next 18 years of sleep depravity I’ll be dealing with
