Steam idea is cool but I don't understand what xbox gets out of that. Unless Steam is willing to give xbox a cut of games sold when gamers buy off the handheld and would Xbox require online play when on steam to need gamepass- steam just lets you play online... Just issues and agreements they would have to iron out with Steam. Be interesting to see how that would work out because xbox isn't going to allow it if they aren't getting a significant cut to make it worth it. !st time watching the show. Enjoyed it. I kinda figured from the moment the first 4 games got ported to PS that Xbox was gearing up to go all in multi platform. Xbox is a dying brand and this was the “break glass in case of emergency” decision that would at least supplement the brand for Microsoft. But more importantly: My daughter was born Sunday the 17th! My wife is an absolute trooper putting up with 30+ hours of labor and delivering our perfect baby. I’m writing this in the post birth room trying to prepare for the next 18 years of sleep depravity I’ll be dealing with

Great episode guys! Awesome to see Xbox news covered with the patented GOP game-focused level headed vibes. I'm a recovering Xbot turned Sony Pony, thanks to friend of the show Ricky MonstaPontez, and I just want some of these slept-on gems to be played by more people. I played Quantum Break last year and Sunset Overdrive this year for the first time and they definitely hold up. I'd love those games and Ryse to get more shine. I may be all PlayStation and PS5 these days, but I'll always pay respect to the big ol VCR Xbox One era. Also much love to Sean, hope all is well!

Didn’t know Hodge is the type of dude to wear his work uniform as a Halloween costume. Great episode guys, my favorite Halloween movies are Friday the 13th: Part 3 (the birth of the iconic look for Jason), of course the Halloween franchise and Evil Dead. As far as games I’d say: 1. Dead Space remake 2. Alan Wake 2 3. RE4 og/remake 4. F.E.A.R (got so scared playing this game as a kid I refused to play it for 2 years) 5. TLOU Got a little question for Hodge: Rank the best Remedy songs moments between the Anderson farm in AW1, Ashtray Maze in Control, and Herald of Darkness/Dark Ocean Summoning in AW2 and why is Herald of Darkness number 1? Also a special note: when the next episode drops I could very well be in the hospital with my wife as we prepare for our daughter to be born!

Update: This episode was an absolute banger. It made my commute scarier when the spoopy screams came out of my right rear car speaker and I nearly shit myself. Three amazing lists but Sean won hands down just with the inclusion of the Cartoon Network flash games 🐐 Amazing stuff guys! 🥒❔🐴

Love this episode, being born in the late 90s I missed most of these games, aside from playing Doom and Starcraft in the early 2000s. Write in: Since the next episode is coming around Halloween, do you guys have go to games in October? I’ve been working on getting the platinum for Dead Space but I’m anxious on attempting Impossible mode.

I want to double dip I preordered my physical copy as we all should it releases November 22nd 2024! But digital is releasing today! Suuuper late to this one but I finally finished the game earlier this week. I want to contend Sean’s argument about Aerith’s death: In the remake universe, Cloud blocked Sephiroth’s stab, but since they were in the convergence of universes (don’t know what else to call it) the whispers “corrected” the change since they tried to get Cloud to kill her. Sean argues that she comes back in the fight and that Cloud still sees her after because she’s alive in the other universe, but if you guys remember, when she pushes Cloud into the portal in the “dream” we see Sephiroth walk into the church, and I presumed he kills her there too. The reason we (as Cloud) still see her is that due to her being a Cetra and holding Holy she has control over the Lifestream and can manifest herself when the party needs her.

I vocally agreed (to myself) most with Midnight on first listen, but I actually overlap the most with Hodge in terms of the games I played most, and I have the most to learn from Sean the JRPG Master. Such great lists, stories and convos as always!
