Good video with John Calipari Teaching and the NBA Point Guards.....Calipari Holds Weight lol that's why he was able to get the NBA guards to help demonstrate the video......and no they wasn't TRAVELS at all!!!! they were gather moves and drive steps to get to the basket Quick As Possible and score better
I know he's just showing how to do the move and that in slower motion than usual, but Lilliard traveled when he picked up his pivot foot before the ball hits the ground.
Ty Lawson at 0:39 lookin like he just wants a drink
Broooo rookie of the year
Good
Sir thanks for the footwork I'm 12 and this helped me alot thanks
How is it being a 17 year old lol

@@lukemarcollo9979 Now they’re like 18 lol
YESSSSS KEMBA WALKER
That's not a travel it's an adventure!
2021 lillard fire
At that ladies and gentlemen was the b team for the USA Team lol
Now those players are absolute behemonths in a land of bigger behemoths....
FYI young ballers: every "strong side drive" from 1:15 to 1:45 is a travel on the first step. By rule (NFHS and FIBA), the ball must leave the player's hand BEFORE HIS PIVOT FOOT LEAVES THE FLOOR. Watch Lilliard and Lawson (and Coach!), their left foot (pivot) leaves before the ball. Bad fundamentals! You will get called for this violation (until you reach the NBA). Stick to recruiting, Coach Cal, it's what you do best.
orangecucamonga Haha yeah in the NBA they see it as: dribble first before your pivot foot TOUCHES the ground for the step, while everyone else is still traditional so that's a travel. In addition, NBA also allows the gather step, which Harden utilizes.
+orangecucamonga dude that call is rarely actually never made in the US
[hypebeast mode] that toro tho
DAMIAN LILLARD!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Wow they brought Ty LawSuit to the mix
This was a day before my birthday
Good well
02:22 Cal: This maybe for the 12, 13 year-olds
John Wall: Nigga said what?
kemba and ty looks happy when the other 2 looks sad
@ USA Basketball SUBSCRIBED SUGGESTION COULD DO A MAVS OFFENSE AND KYRIE LUKA STYLE AND HOW TO DO WHAT THEY DO.
i see a lot of potential in these guys... maybe just maybe they might make the league... just the slightest thought
lol
Yes they are look so you have eyes
good travel lesson man
Nobody gives a shit about FIBA rules.
ephesus if you lift the pivot foot before balling it's travel in NBA too
Francesco Bandini no
Traveling:
To start a dribble after establishing a pivot foot, the ball must be released from the player’s hand before his pivot foot leaves the floor or he has committed a traveling violation.
(from: NBA.com)
There was literally no travels whatsoever in the video lol
Ty Lawson's move was a travel right? And Kemba's mvoe isn't since he dribbled then stepped with his right foot? Thanks!
Lillard got embarassed after he said "yes the nba rookie of the year"
One day I'll play at uk I love that coach man I'll be ready but now I'm just developing as a 15 year old
Hey bro did you become a good player ?
I bet they could make some great NBA players some day
This is a nice video. How do you drive past someone who plays defense like Jordan (low and balanced) with a large wingspan? My buddy has seen me play for years now and even with my quick first step he can pick it or block it now. I usually have to switch to post up to reliably score.
Thats probably just cuz you been playing with him too long and your too predictable to him or you may have a a quick first step but your upper body and eyes are showing where you want to go
Owen Amadasu Definitely. We have been playing 1 on 1 for like 15 years. He always tells me to watch the middle of the chest when you are playing defense. I'm having to quickly transition to post up now in order to position myself to score. I can quick step him a few times but it is really getting difficult. I guess you always have to keep learning and adding stuff to the bag of tricks.
Omg I know exactly how you feel, I say practice a lot of what you do least and catch him off guard with it but keep the old ones so it keeps working
Cars Joe612
Yeah I have moves that he has never seen before, or that I have rarely used. I have to improvise a lot and try different things. My speed and finesse are something that catches him off guard every once and awhile. I still have my jumper and baby hook that he still can't touch. I have this up and under move, a finger roll, that pisses off everyone lol
"YO SQUARE UP KID"
kemba Walker :)
Wow number 20 looks like a good basketball player he should try out for the nba
Dame this vid was 7 years ago
“there is one imposter among us”
U can also shoot a pull up jump shot right
Ty Lawson with dem toros tho
ty lawson travels
i played in you guys summer camp thing i have a outfit you guys gave me
Ima tryout for the team at my college but I never played on a team in middle or high school. But I think I can do it cause im a ok shooter passer and defender.
Have to be a little more then ok man
Well ima try my luck.
My advice is do some workouts and work on your stamina before you join, otherwise you will die after half of training :P
everyone but Kemba looked like they didn’t want l be there in the beginning. Lol.
This makes me wanna play 3 on 3 freestyle 🪑
Good well yeh
"TIPS, SKILLS, AND TRAVELING DRILLS" lol
Exactly
No traveling. He's bouncing the ball as he steps so he gets another 2 steps...
+Jacob Yousif yea u cant bounce after catch
+Unstoppable Banter you can
+Unstoppable Banter u obviously don't know basketball
Ty Lawson probably drunk durin this video lmfao
lmfao thats fucked up
its travelling as per fiba rules
Those are pros doing that trust I think they know what there doing
letz go! come with me! letz go travel! travel travel travel! traveling is fun
2023 seeing Damian and kemba lmao
What are those red shoes #21 is wearing
I can do the step back I have done it since 4th grade
What if they are playing flat defense where both feet are infront
Rylee Ocampo that's when you break them down with your killer dribble moves, or call for a pick
Bruh we gonna ignore the fact they got Dame, Wall and Kemba
You can have the ball in the air and then grab it then take two steps it’s not traveling
Kyrie is the best lay up
1 bounce layups messed up my layups.
Rarely can you do a 1 bounce layup in a game.
Incorrect
Travelling for sure. You can raise your pivot foot before shooting or passing, but not before start dribbling.
The first tutorial. It is travel in our place.
Kemba and John look like twins
Young dollar dame before he became one of the best
Mmm anyone else here because they're a slasher on NBA2k18?
aye i’m weak as hell 😂😂😂😂 tf was lawson doing there
3 All-NBA guys and Ty Lawson
Which 1 Kemba?🤔🤔
I think kemba’s part isnt a travel even in fiba
Anybody know what shoes Damian lillard has on?
Anyone know what type of ball theyre using? i did see nike and another, but i mean specific type of ball. im looking for one
Spalding
i didnt know john wall and kemba walker look like twins
1:28 travel
thats called a gather step bud
Do yk anything about basketball
It's ok to take many steps while going for a lay-up.
If there is like 4 people though tips
Ty looked hungover
people saying they are travelling never played basketball or never did a lay up
guys plz dont call them travels, any baller would know when you blow buy a defender that's exactly what you do, as long as you dribble the same time you lift your pivot. Strictly speaking its a "travel" because ball hasn't left your hand as you lift pivot, but from mechanics wise, how the fk do you dribble first then lift pivot and STILL be explosive.
Lol blow "buy". It's by
+Pinhead Larry I'm dirty dan
Dorsiflexion
kemba and wall are twins
People know they get 2 steps before it's a travel right....
Yeah, but it isn't a travel if you look at it closely
***** I didn't say it was a travel.
Đã xem
Ty Lawson traveled, Be sure to dribble before making that step or refs will call travel everytime
Aj Coleman Shutup
The key here is to not tie your shoes before you attack the basket!
What kind of shoes are those? No really what are those called?
teaching kids how to travel from a young age..making them NBA ready!
Learn about the gather step. It'll help you.
Paper1Planes He may be talking about the triple threat position and having the ball hit the floor first before the pivot foot can be lifted...that would definitely qualify as a travel.
+Jason Herrera That call is never made in the US in my play experiance I have never been called for such a call
+tyler sayers That call isn't made here in the US
@@baconbaconbobacon no bro the ball just has to leave your hand before youre allowed to move
