I have done his stitch a few times in stripe I want the bobble to be one colour but when I join the second colour in its shows the bobble to be 2 colours I only want the won what am I doing wrong
Hi Elaine, thanks for the comment. Actually, the way I learned this stitch was using a multiple of 4 (as shown in the video). However, sometimes a border stitch (also called selvedge stitch) is included on either side of such patterns. If that were the case, then yes, the stitch count would be a multiple of 4 plus the 2 stitches (for one stitch on either end). If you wish to add a border (like I did in the towel shown in video), hoping the video description of my pattern notes for adding such a border helps. For changing colors on this towel, I simply joined the new color when I needed to change it (see video on joining colors here: th-cam.com/video/vP_Q_WVKG4o/w-d-xo.html); I cut the other color off (leaving a 4-6 inch tail) and weaved in the tails in each section.
