    I just used my mat for the first time today and It was really sticky also, I used my spatula to run it under the card and it worked pretty well.

    You answered the one question I still had, so thank you!!! I've been trying to select multiple images or projects to add to the canvas in DS, but I guess an update this year disallowed that feature. I used to be able to select more than one in the library and add to canvas all at once. Can't do that anymore and I've been searching for how to get around that. So thanks! Now I can have the flexibility I used to have. Wonder why they'd take that ability away? But that's OK. I'm used to working in windows anyway, just didn't see how to find another window until I watched your video. BTW, Cricut does recommend using the same size for all 4 cards and at present, there's no way to change that, that I know of.

    Thank you for the tutorial. I have the mat but haven’t had a chance to use it. Why do you have to open another canvas? Im confused. For card two and three you were able to open them both on canvas two. How come you didn’t do that on canvas one?

      I didn’t open the same card in the same canvas. If you notice when I do the third card and I choose customize the popsicle card is no longer on the canvas

    Loved your info. When I clicked on text to customize a birthday card for the card mat it just said "TEXT" with no bounding box and i could not select all when it came to the card itself. any hints or ideas? Thanks

    • @CorinneBlackstone
      @CorinneBlackstone  ปีที่แล้ว

      You need to double click the box to highlight the text then you can edit it

    • @wandalyon8539
      @wandalyon8539 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CorinneBlackstone but there is no box. just the word TEXT. No blue bounding bos.

    I loved my JOY c add mat and when this came out my joy mat doesn’t work. Every time I try to make a card on it it’s says it’s “not compatible “ what the heck! And I went and got bigger cards for the bigger mat and it doesn’t work well like you had those issues. The joy was just so simple

    Any idea why when I try to do this it puts the cards on separate card mats? Sorry for my ignorance, I've only had my maker for 3 days LOL thank you!

    • @CorinneBlackstone

      Perhaps the cards are different sizes? Mine put them on the mats separately when they were other sizes

    Do you have to use the cricut card inserts or could you make your own?

    Your card in the third slot was a different size than the other two.

  • @KristenCenci

    My understanding was that all the cards have to be the same size to make them on the same card mat.

    • @CorinneBlackstone
      @CorinneBlackstone  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Quite possible but that’s stupid in my opinion and something cricut should really change. :)

    I think I recall, you have all the same size cards on the mat. (Can’t mix card sizes).

    How do you write in the inside?

    • @CorinneBlackstone
      @CorinneBlackstone  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You can simply flip the cards inside out and have it write. You’ll need to be sure you of course have the correct side facing out

    The directions say to move the star wheels to the center to prevent creases. I have four of these mats and they NEVER cut right. I am so discouraged!!!! I make cards all the time.

      Which machine do you have? It works perfectly on my Maker3. It seems to be working correctly only onthe latest machines. Which means either they coded only to the latest or earlier software can't read the latest updates properly. During development meetings, users are seldom present, so guess what? Coders aren't users so they really don't know our struggles unless we let the company know.
