I can’t thank you enough, I was in panic mode when I couldn’t start my expedition. I watched several videos, they did not help until I watched your video!!! My expedition started right up!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Finally! I couldn’t find anything in the manual that mentioned where to put the key.
Could not find out how to charge the keyless fob! Went and watch 12 different videos and not one showed me where at..!!! But I chose this vid and it was a simple.
May God bless you men, my sister she was panic with that problem , then I saw your video I send it to her then the car works, thank you soooooooo muuuuuuuchhhhh
THANK YOU SO MUCH SIR!!!! I almost got trapped in parking lot cuz of the key malfunction…. But I found you somehow and I am HAPPY! I have 2014 expedition so the location for key was little different, but it worked fast anyway!

Ok that's all well and good, once you're in the vehicle. How do you get the door open if the fob battery is dead????
Thank you help get car on flat bed
Oh my God, you're awesome
Thank you!
How long can I drive like this for?
I tried several times to start my car with dead key fob and no luck. Please help me
Replaced the battery both remotes battery dead simple repair on battery replacement
My fob must not be totally dead cause I can lock and unlock the car AND start it from the fob but when I push to start it can't detect the fob
And what if that’s not working either???😅
What camera setup do you use for your videos?
I use three cameras. Sony ZV1, GoPro Hero 8 and my IPhone 13z. In this video it was the phone.

@@HowtoAutomotive Do you usually do pre-run of what you are going to film in order to make sure everything is in the shot, or that all the camera's are at the right angle?
I just got my Gopro and was going to start filming some of my suspension rebuild process on my Tacoma. All you guys makes these videos look easy to do.
@@joshm2243 I may do a quick test shoot to make sure everything‘s in frame but other than that nothing special. I do all my zooming in and out in editing not with the camera. Unless it’s absolutely necessary.
@@HowtoAutomotive Ah very interesting, I didn't know that you can adjust the zoom during editing. I am new to all this filming stuff. I always assumed it was atleast one or two cameras people were using and had one setup zoomed in and the other setup with a regular shot, then when they edited it they would cut and splice from each camera.
Mind if I ask what software you use for editing? I'm sure this is like everything else once you get the hang of it it's fairly easy from then on out.
How do you get the door OPEN????
The key fob has a manual key built inside of it. You got a click a little switch on the back and pull the key out.
@@HowtoAutomotive thanks, but none of the fobs, or manual keys, worked bcuz my battery was dead! Shocking that even the manual keys wouldnt work, but Geico sent out a guy & he got it open! and running. 😍 P.S. Thank you!! bcuz of you, i found the hidden key in the fob & i never knew it was there.
It still isn’t starting even when I do this
Same! Happening right now. Did you figure out how to make yours work??
What to do if this doesn't work?
Then it’s possible that you have a starter issue or something else going on and it will need to be diagnosed. it could be a security issue as well.
@HowtoAutomotive how do you tell if it's a security issue???
What’s the protocol when that doesn’t work to start it?
Start replacing the batteries in your key fob. After that it may require diagnostics.
Batteries were replaced when this first started happening. They lock, unlock, remote start, and pop the trunk.
About 80% of the time we get the ‘no key fob detected’ and the key is in the center console slot.
2019 Ford Taurus.
I have a 2013 with no pocket
I have a 2013 also with a pocket. You have to look in the right place. I had this problem and it took forever to locate the pocket. It is in the front wall of the back pocket of the center console. Good luck.
How did you unlock the door to get in the vehicle?,,,and then do the tip.
It has a keypad with a code
@@HowtoAutomotive what if you don't remember or know they keypad code then how do you get in?
@@aliciamcgilloway3707 On the key fob itself there’s a little tab you press it and pull out a mechanical key.
And the key doesn't work
@@roseott1594 you been trying to get into the wrong car
The way tow truck is spelled bothers me but this is a good educational video otherwise
I fix it. Thank you for watching!
We don’t even have the key. We bought the car used and it didn’t have it.
Your a goat
Thank you!
