I bought the A7M1, and I get a LOT of air kills in ground RB because by the time they realize what plane I am in, it's already too late for them. It also has good guns and ammo supply, so you can just target AA guns and light vehicles to farm easy SL.

Funny, you talked about being effective, time-management etc - today (on my Typhoon) a was spotting pzIV at our flank near the spawn for 3 minutes, nobody cared, he got 7 kills. It is so rare now that anybody look at map or even when look they don't wanna go anywhere other than forward, leaving after fisrt death. 50% of the time, at the very start 2 idiots bumpimg to each other and refuse to back away, so almost immidiatelly our team lost 2 players, usually the fast ones, the ones who are very important at the start. And the best thing that I saw - don't know the name of the map, but there's a sweet spot on a hill with tight gap between rocks, one tank wide - there were 5 (five, cinco, V, пять, fünf) tanks in line, half of our team... just 1 tank could shoot, others just waiting or pushing each other - that's how it's done. Sorry for rant(
recently i have been flying the p47 and normally i thought, ah its just a heavy brick with good weaponry for destroying tanks. well i managed to actually get a kill against a bv155. i didn't think the p47 could do it bc from experience it turns way too good. well, i went around in custom battles with friends to test the p47's potential at fighting planes and i managed to win a long dogfight against a p51h. the p47 has now became my favourite plane for cas at that br. i used to just spam the f6f-5 bc i always liked the balance of cas ability and dogfight ability.
Love the reppu and all the type 5 rocket armed planes of Japan. Once You learn to aim them they are fairly reliable and comparable to similar Big Anti tank rockets.
i used this one on the past. It took a while to get the aim of those rockets. Right now i dont see a viable 5.3 lineup. Ki84 is good for 5.7, and Ki61 for 4.7, there is even a Ki84 at 5.3, i guess for the Chi Ri 2.

Pleas, any chance you share your graphic seetings, details etc. ? Because maybe for the first , after watching dozens of videos and playing hundreds of hours, in your video I can finally see tanks on the grounds from distance. So if you please share some mof your magic...its that video settings, details seting, some overlay filter... ?
The 20mm APHE is very poorly implemented. It has no fuze and is really more an API round that activates from the heat of deformation and break up against armor plates. However in the game, not only does it just explode when hitting an aircraft anywhere, it also can’t penetrate armor because they didn’t give it a fuze delay. So no fuze delay nor sensitivity 🤷🏻♂️
Yeah, good luck using a FIGHTER for CAS, have you considered taking Hayate for that role? Shiden-Kai can also work. Besides have you tried taking AP ammunition?
