I can’t master his pounce yet.. I feel like a cat who’s trying to get from point A to B but fall mid jump making it pointless 😂😂😂
I might be able to help with this actually, as I’ve had the same problem for a little while, until I discovered I was doing it wrong. I assumed that it was fully charged when his fingers locked into position, but it’s not. You can tell when it’s fully charged because his hands will glow red and it’ll play a sound. I was half pouncing every time I used it, but once I started full charging it, I started to get good with him.
maybe you are aiming too vertically or you are not charging it enough for the distance you want to reach
all the people below you are just wrong dont worry about getting your jump right worry about the timing, use him like an isntant horizon q to chall someone on height. the key to playing new rev is having MASSIVE BALLS you gotta just straight up send someone as soon as you yourself can confirm they are sepperated from the rest of their team. ISOLATE 1v1's its his most effective move utilizing his ult plus q to create an isolated 1v1 you will without fail win that allowing your team to win the 3v3
Master it? Bruh he's easy af to use he doesn't have a a high skill ceiling just look at or below eye level and let go. Really lol

@@TimProVision funny first i thought rev was op from the trailers, then terrible when he underwhelmed in my first matches but now i think he is good now after around 40 kills on him this season

The first day of the release, we were constantly being jumpscared by revenant.
Luckily, R-99 is still effective destroying shields very quickly while also being ballistic.
As a rev main with 5k kills and over 2 million damage, I appreciate the changes.
What would you say is the best change? What was your least favorite mechanic he had before? Genuinely asking 😊👍
@@somesquirrelgod1903 I would say his tactical is pretty sweet. Being able to reposition or escape fairly quickly is a great new advantage as a rev main. Also, his passive makes him on par with other legends that have some sort of wall hacking ability.
@mannyperez7680 the movement is very nice especially when paired with passive. I'm trying to get into it I really liked the silence tact, locking people abilities was so satisfying and toxic 😅 but I'm not playing seer for silence I didn't even know he had silence until a day or two ago. Thanks for the perspective though I'm struggling with the change 😂
@@somesquirrelgod1903 i still panic spam Revs tactical thinking I'm going to disable someone's abilities and instead in just panic jump lol it's taking some time to get used to.

Whenever revenant leaps I always hear the hunter scream
Already mastered it man he is the in-and-out bullet sponge when you need him or he can simply swap vantage points pretty quickly for a more defensive approach. They totally leaned into his movement potential with a fun twist and I am all for it
Does his ult charge quickly?
I went from never using him to being a Revenant main. So much fun to use.
You could also do the slide jump first and if you do it right it sends you flying
I love looking straight down and dashing because it gives you an extreme speed boost along with the slide allowing you to pull your weapon out instantly because your on the ground. It’s great for pushing aggressively
You can superglide into a pounce or charge a pounce before sliding off a surface to immediately have your weapon out after leaving the ground, which also gives more mobility upon hitting the ground
His ultimate is overpowered
Just started playing rev today for the first time and absolutely loved it. His kit is so fun in pubs

As a rev main since I started the game, I absolutely love this. It's going to take a minute to get used to but love it
Another tip is that for his tactical after you leap if you want to use your gun mid air charge up your tactical then slide of if a ledge, and the let go of your leap mid air after you slide off then u can use your gun mid air
I’ve been a rev main since season 6, always saw the issues with his kit but was able to work pass them due to my proficient gun play. Now that he has movement and basically and extra shield…he’s a monster now😂 I’m happy that my main is in a better position but am now upset because he’s taken from me almost every game and by people that cant even use his kit properly😅 Love and hate it all at the same time.

Speed boosts like mad Maggie or octane ults further boost his jump distance, I've gotten 130 meters combing the two
Nice vid! Another tip with the jump is to charge the jump, mantle, and then release to get a farther leap. You can also superglide to make it go even further but the mantle alone is a lot

I love the new change, also it is easy to get used to the abilities. I carried my team instantly after I picked rev. Was constantly 1 vs 2 or 1 vs 3 and winning all of them. His new ult is super strong.
Look down at the floor when using his tactical it’s good for short distances
Love him! I find it more effective to point down words before using his passive ability it seems to go further. + downwards on a hill with the slide at the end, oh boy! You’ll be going halfway across the map!

as a bonus for the pounce you should try aiming down, not straight down but lower than half of the screen this gets you a faster and closer to the ground jump that allows you to do some crazy slides and get your weapon out faster
For his tactical jump while looking down , then use the pounce ( charge it up before jumping) it remove all verticality meaning more horizontal movement
You can travel further with shadow pounce if you time the jump right after you land on the ground

this man goes CRAZY in ranked, im over here getting 500-600 dmg off a fight, and taking a lot of dmg as well
One tech with rev is that if you aim down when pouncing for what ever reason you just eject your self at mach 5
A little tip about the rev ult shield is that it blocks all damage as it's a shield deploy and not a Evo shield so it fully blocks 1 kraber shot and not take damage to his health nor will the kraber shot shoot pass him.
Switched to PATHFINDER because all of a sudden I went from being able to pick Rev every single game to every game I had to quit just to play as him lol still got 1k kills and 30 dubs from him tho but path goes nuts his escape cool down way quicker

I’ve been playing rev since season 8 and I can say that I don’t like is ult it just doesn’t seem like it does much of anything even if it does give 75 shield it feels like I can easily be taken out
seems kind of OP, the default skirmishers like pathfinder and wraith aren't anywhere near as strong
As rev main I like his rework but I miss totem and silence. I will always remember how annoying silence was do your anemies
What I've learned is that you can fly if you aim his tac at the ground or preferably at a 10 degree angle (fully charged) and yes Rev is an absolute tank I have knocked a entire team solo cuz they downed both my teammates
I preferred the old rev but I don't knock on anyone for enjoying the new one either. They feel like 2 completely different characters. Would be cool if they made a second revenant that had compatible skins buy could still use the older model if you wanted to.

I miss old rev when I silence the wraiths and Octanes so they can't escape and get hate mail
If you look down at the ground you can create a bunny hop do this correctly and you’ll wont go far but your speed will.
He’s busted now, he cannot lose a 1v1 unless you’re bad. At least with that ult. Noone should get more armor for an ult, kinda nutty
I just bought revenant two days ago I thought his jump would be faster/stronger.
If you point the tactical straight down it sends you forward really fast, like punch boost fast. Just another tip
New rev is my main now. I won 1v3v2v3 for my team I take fights and lose like 30 shield w the ULT
Don't forget rev can tapstrafe now. And do a double off a jump pad.
With rev you can tap strafe on console use jump pad than us tactical or js act likt your doing an elite jump and that use tact

Or u can look at the ground pounce and it yet u to extend this u can bunny hop or slide
His tactical works on ziplines zip rails octain pads and horizon lifts
The biggest tip here that wasn’t even mentioned is if you look at the ground or lower down when pouncing as revanant you do an insanely fast forward leap that is less vertical which is super good when quickly moving from one generally flatter area to another
I've been mastered the pounce without trying but I'm trying to figure out the passive assassins instinct because it says I can highlight nearby enemies but I'm not exactly sure what it means by that. I'm also confused with what exactly the ultimate does
If u get an opponent down to 40% or lower it reveals their position. But u have to lower their health not your teammates.
Ok imma be honest the bigger hit box that the ult has makes it almost not worth using if you have to fight at anything other than long-mid range

Fun fact he didn’t mention: if you shoot an enemy in his ult and a teammate knocks them you’ll get your shield refreshed with an extra ten seconds so be sure to use grenades in game modes like control.
Funny how my whole team can't break a rev ult even once but when I go against a wraith she 2 taps me with a PK when I have the ult active with red shields.

Just a tip with his shield your not as strong as you think cus his shield has a huge hit box so don’t use it for long range use it in close range
when I activate my ult it simply goes from 1 person to 4 people from different sides just to kill me

Found this utterly useless movement tech with rev where if you use max power shadow pounce at a wall facing 45° up and right infront of that wall you do a small wallbounce backwards, good lucky actually using this 👍(I suck at explaining let me know if you want me to elaborate.

I love how every season there's always one thing that's super broken and clearly doesn't belong and they don't care. 300 HP on one squadmate is fucking dumb.
So they said no more scan metas but give one to a skirmisher legend. And give bloodhound ult kill refresh to him. Thanks apex look like I'm going to play remnant this season
The Rev scan or target is so minimal it's pretty much a non factor
He's honestly even worse now tbh. The jump having a 25 second cool down is wild especially when you can't cancel it or shoot mid air. Plus the fact that the uncharged version doesn't change said cool down. And my God that ult is bad. Fighting against people with even REMOTELY decent aim completely destroys it because they still did nothing about his hitbox. The passive buff is nice though I guess
That would be more linear in raw play tho.
