Great review!👍 I bought the ZS80 for my wife and ZS100 for myself to make a lighter kit for a recent trip to Hawaii. The ZS80 is a great complement to the iPhone for distant shots, landscapes and 4k video.The "Vibrant" color profile gives a punch that almost matches the iPhone photos. I do find that it's best to zoom in an do your cropping in camera. The ZS80 photos looses quality when cropping is done in post processing. Great camera that fits in your pocket!
Hi, although I am a Olympus MFT user I have the Lumix TZ80 that I take with me on vacations. It is a surprisingly good camera for such a small size sensor.
Nice video, this camera seems to be really interesting. I would intend it for the same use as you. Though I really like that the newer models have 4k video. But now I realized something: Your tz70/zs50 has 12mp instead of the 18 or 20mp sensors in the new models , which both could be an advantage and a disadvantage: - less room to crop images + less noise? I really would love to see a comparison between one of the newer models and this 12mp model. As far as I know, more megapixels almost always means more noise with higher isos. 🤔

As your having access to multiple models of the zs line up Id like to ask something: Do you think the iso performance has changed over the models? Im asking this beacuse of the following: I dont mind only having 12mp, but Im really interested in that 4k video recording feature of the new ones. But now I realised, that the new zs models have 20mp, which is more than the 12mp sensor in the camera in this video (zs50). Usually more megapixels almost always means more noise and worse iso performance. Whats your impression about that matter?🤔

Excelet review! I've been looking for compact camera and the Canon gx7 was on the top of my list I'll have to ad this Panasonic to the list also. My only question is: does this camera shoots RAW??
