I'm not in France but In Germany...My German is very weak and I'm frustrated to communicate with kids..When you say "Let's go home" and they say "What?", "Why?" and when it takes a longer time like 2 minutes for my Google translate. ..he starts getting angry and scream.... It's so hard haha

Totally feel you! Don't worry, it takes a bit of time for everyone to get used to the new situation. You'll handle it perfectly!

I’m just curious: Why did you say/ask certain sentences/questions in English if you already knew how to say it in French? :)

Which au pair program was you in? How did you find it? And how did you make a contract with your family?

Hi there! there are many different ways in which you can become an Au Pair, it totally depends on what you want and the country you are going to.
Everyone in the APOP team has a very different experience, but generally, you would have to choose between using a website or using an Au Pair agency. As far as the contract goes, your host country will dictate the general things about your program, and if you go with an agency they will make that for you. If you use a website, your host family will have to comply with the country's law and you will also most likely negotiate a couple of things here and there. Good luck, if you need more help please visit our website aupairohparis.com!!!
