I love to travel so naturally becoming an au pair sounds like a dream however, I am hearing some things about how you can only get a work visa if you are 30. Is there a way around this work visa or simply another option for older people?
Jayme Higginbotham I know that in Europe they have things called talent visas because they are very serious about the arts. So if you approach them with a project that you were working on or even like painting a series then they will give you a talent visa to go over and work on it. Of course you’d be working as an au pair but on your free time you could do photography or art. You could also take a couple classes that you’re interested in and get a student visa just a few options that I’ve heard of.
Samantha Munns not really, a lot of people do it but being an au pair super time consuming, tiring and definitely a full time job. So it’s just a bit too hard to do both.
I'm enrolled in language courses, so Navigo accepted my enrollment certificate. I don't attend language courses and I'm still able to get discounts so this is my own experience :)

I find it easy to make friends and I can say I have a few but sometimes because they move around it becomes hard.

So you couldn’t do any freelance work at all? Like you would get in trouble for freelance even on your down time?

I didn't get the student Pass Navigo and I don't get discounts as a student on my Au pair visa, it is not a student visa
