@@GroundhopperFC It's a shame what happened to Alemannia. They played 2004 as 2. Bundesliga Team international. My first visit to the stadium was Bayern vs Aachen in the Bundesliga (2006/2007). Bayern won 2:1 after falling behind. In the same season, Aachen also knocked Bayern out of the cup (Aachen led 3:0 at half-time). The whole old Tivoli was jumping, even as a Bayern fan I had goosebumps in front of the TV. Schlaudraff was crazy back then, Bayern bought him immediately after the game. The same thing happened two seasons before in the semi-finals. Aachen made it to the cup final as a second division team, lost narrowly 2:3 and was allowed to play in the UEFA CUP as a second division team because Bremen had already qualified internationally as champions and the rule at the time was that the runner-up in the cup could then play internationally.

That happened for bad reasons. After the German reunification the state run former East German clubs with big fanbases were left financially in the dust. Oche has always been happy to do its own thing, not belonging to Rhine-Ruhr or the lower Rhine. Great city in its own right, with LOADS of history. We lived close-by in the 80s and went to the old Tivoli 2-3 times, back, when they were always pushing for promotion and just never got there. I seem to recall that there was a row of houses at one end, not right at the pitch, but close enough that you could watch some of the action from their top windows. After we moved away, I lost sight of them, but I knew that the new Tivoli had rocked them badly. I only recently checked the Regionalliga tables for the first time in forever, and was very pleased with what I saw in the West. If my main team manage to avoid relegation, which looks quite possible, we will play Aachen next year. Might be a good excuse to go back and check out the new Tivoli.

The support this team receives is unreal considering the success (the luck of to be honest) it had. 12 years in the 4th division and even during the worst season still had 6-7000 avg attendance. I ve been I aachen around 10 years and still cannot believe the faith those people have in their team

Dear Groundhopper, thx for These amazing experience. I‘m a fan of TSV Alemannia Aachen for about thirty years… I saw their way up from „Oberliga“ to „Bundesliga“ and the way back down to the „Regionalliga“, too… It is nearly heartbreaking to See what happened with this club! Since fall 23 everyone in Aachen hopes, that we will take the way back to 3. Liga! and I hope, you will join us again… Perhaps this season against Fortuna Köln (at the easter Weekend) or perhaps on April, 27th against one of our hardest opponents to take the way up in 3. Liga! At least i think everyone would be glad, if you join us on May, 18th 🖤💛 #NurderTSV #KaiserstadtAC #HeimatstadtAC #Oche

We are hoping to step over in the third division.🎼🎶🎵 Dreams are my ...🎼🎶🎵 Thank you so much. 🖤💛👍👏👏👏
My first memory of this club was in 2004 when they miraculously reached the final of the German Cup and therefore played in Europe as a 2nd division club which was cool. I hope they get promoted soon so that their stadium gets fuller.

Incredible video, I'm also an Aachen fan and it's great to see you here. You're always welcome to come back, especially at the end of the season when we win the regionalliga and get promoted to the thirs league. Then the stadium will be full
Very good video of the german fan culture!
That was a great video, saw the game live myself sadly over the Internet but im looking Forward to watching in person again
I want to thank you for making my days with these videos. It's like I'm almost there (I wish lol) so thank you😃
I never thought you would come to Aachen. It tastes like promotion this year.
Bro i really love this type of content and i always search thankyou bro ❤❤❤❤❤
I just saw this video, I was there! For all who don’t know, Aachen is at the top of the league for the first time in ages and it finally has a chance to go up into the next league. I can’t wait to see that happen.

I never expected to see such a cool video about my home club and city! This made me discover your channel and other videos! You should also come to another game of alemannia Aachen, because now we are first in our league and the stadium will be even fuller. Great Video! Nur der TSV 🖤💛
Beste groundhopper in the world
Means a lot🥺
Do you know Robert Conway and the UK Alemannia Fanclub?
Tomorrow the Tivoli will be selled out.
Division 3 we're coming
Thank you @Groundhopper FC for this amazing Video
See you tomorrow!!!
Massive respect!
For your information Last Home Match in the League 29000 versus Fortuna Köln
best atmosphere in any 4th division in the world
Its half empty
bro, on saturday there were almost 23k fans in this stadium. The 9k in the video in the Mittelrheinpokal on a weekday were nothing compared to the league.
@@F.O.Osure it's half empty. We are not in Gelsenkirchen so mit of us got a job...
I just don't see how it can be the best in the world when its empty sometimes@@filip_98s88
@@saschatrapp65 The game is in the evening
It's time for Aachen to move up to the 3rd league. Good luck🍀 and best wishes from Dresden.💛🖤
Today 25400.. 😉
Hey, cool video. I've been going to Alemannia games for about 20 years now, and it's always something special. Such a cool bunch of crazy people
Thanks for visiting us😂🖤💛
My favorite Team for more than 15 Years. Missed it to be there yesterday.
i’ve been to Aachen games since I was born and was even glad enough to seem them in the Bundesliga. still faithful and this year we’re gonna get back up. ATSV
Alemannia Aachen!🖤💛
The support this team receives is unreal considering the success (the luck of to be honest) it had. 12 years in the 4th division and even during the worst season still had 6-7000 avg attendance. I ve been I aachen around 10 years and still cannot believe the faith those people have in their team
Can you go to a game from Fortuna Düsseldorf?
He has been there already
I've been there once and I loved it there. Loved the video and hope to see more!!
What a fantastic atmosphere in the stadium, after seeying this I would really like to attend one of its matches :O
Wow! What a great Video! So crazy that you were even able to film the Fans from the field 🙌 Please go to more Alemannia Aachen games 🙏 Maybe next time an improtant one ;D Gotta see the Stadium with 20k plus fans 🖤💛
Dear Groundhopper,
thx for These amazing experience. I‘m a fan of TSV Alemannia Aachen for about thirty years…
I saw their way up from „Oberliga“ to „Bundesliga“ and the way back down to the „Regionalliga“, too… It is nearly heartbreaking to See what happened with this club!
Liga!
At least i think everyone would be glad, if you join us on May, 18th 🖤💛

DU BIST MEIN STOLZ UND MEINE LIEBE TSV🖤💛
This is already impressive but for a normal league game there are sometimes twice as many people in the Tivoli.
Crazy to see a english TH-camr in oure home stadio. Just Amazing!
What a suprise you went to my Home Town. Next season we'll be playing in the third division, so you'll have to come again !!!! TSV
Gotta love this. It's so much more fun to explore these kind of clubs, instead of the big, famous clubs. Enjoyed watching it, again!
Thanks for this moment. I'm proud to be a supporter of the team from Alemannia Aachen 🖤💛 since 1967 it was my first visit at the Tivoli ( the old building some minutes ago). The atmosphere in the old building was extremely, in the new Tivoli is the atmosphere not so good, but for visitors well. We are hoping to step over in the third division.🎼🎶🎵 Dreams are my ...🎼🎶🎵 Thank you so much. 🖤💛👍👏👏👏
Amazing Video, have been to the game too, incredible atmosphere!!
Glad you expierenced the tivoli atmosphere, magic
My first memory of this club was in 2004 when they miraculously reached the final of the German Cup and therefore played in Europe as a 2nd division club which was cool. I hope they get promoted soon so that their stadium gets fuller.
Thank you for visiting my club and publishing this great video.
You are always welcome in my home town Aachen and of course in our football stadium Tivoli.
thank you so much for filming this vlog about our Alemannia. we really would like to see you around soon against 1. FC Bocholt, our main rivals for promotion this season on 27th April🙏🏻 until then ⬛️⬜️🟨
