You've done John O'Groats, you've got to do the closest ground to Land's End now (maybe Mousehole, in the eighth tier of English football?). If you do go to Cornwall, I'd *love* to see an AwayDays trip to the Isles of Scilly - they have the smallest league in the world with 2 teams that play each other every week. The league's Wikipedia page includes tantalising gems such as "As of 2023, one player in his 70s still occasionally plays in official games." and "Due to the league's nature on-duty firemen or policemen play in official games, occasionally leaving one team one-player short in case of an emergency." Tell me you don't want to see that.

We got a hiding but it was a good time out and Wick were very welcoming to us. Despite the result, I thoroughly enjoyed my trip.
Should come to Perth glory in the Australian top league. Closest team is 28 hr drive or 3 hr flight one way. Furthest is impossible to drive and an 11hr flight.
Would need someone to fund it, that trip could cost £2000 for a 40 to 50 hour round trip, it is bizarre that the A-League refuses to have relegation or promotion which means none of the local Perth sides will ever get to play against Perth Glory, so they'll remain the most isolated team in Australia, I bet Russia or Canada would have most isolated in the world
Just a few minutes south of John O’ Groats is a small farm with an honesty shop. We bought a cool hand knitted hat with puffins on it. You should have gone there!

Hi Ellis, a couple of days ago, I got recommended a video of yours, it was the one where you came to watch a football match in Lithuania and ever since I was binging your videos and I want to say that they are genuinely so fun to watch. I hope that you and Ed enjoyed your stay in Vilnius, even though we don't care about football much 😂 I wish you good luck on your channel and you have earned a new subscriber.

John o'Groats is really just a tourist trap. It's not the most northerly point and it's not on the north-east corner. The place to go is the most northerly point, Dunnet Head a few miles to the west, which has the added benefit of being on top of a massive cliff.
My Dad lives on Sanday, in the Orkneys. We drive past Wick Academy on the way there and back. For us, near Oxford, we take about 14 hrs, but drive on to the ferry further along the coast from John o’groats. Then catch a boat, wait and catch another-all in about 23 hrs. Wick isn't remote or isolated. It's just far away from where you live and you're not used to rural places. 25,000 people live in Caithness and Wick airport has flights 6 days a week to Aberdeen, where you can connect with loads of destinations. Dundee's as remote from Wick as Wick is from Dundee.
