My mother in law taught me all the finnish recipes. Im from New Zealand. That danish pastry we made every xmas for christmas stars(turrtus) hope my husband finnish spelling is correct. Anyway they were the favorites of our children and gingerbread biscuit. She was a fabulous cook and very creative. Miss her dearly. Great video clip. Enjoyed watching.

Delighted to have found you!! I have made Danish pastry the other way, so I can't wait to try your way :-) Do you have a recipe for cheese filling? Thanks so much for your channel !!!
You can find it in the, “Baking With Julia” cookbook. It has her pastry recipe, Danish Braid and Danish Slices recipes. If you like baking, this book is fantastic!
I used to read her delightful articles in the American gourmet magazine. Sadly, this excellent magazine has gone the way of the dodo, cannibalised by the Internet.

We used to make apricot/almond yeast strudel at Gelpe's Bakery, or, I did.
Very Nice. Thank you,
oooh WOW... my grandma would let me watch & help.
Do you have a recipe for danish meltaway
I thought salt kills the yeast. Should the salt been added later, after the yeast activated and flour added, then salt?
Awesomeness 💛💙💚💜❤🧡
