Dear Mrs. Bea! I am Thai whom married to the Fin-Canadian. And still learning how to bake Pulla, Piirakka and much more! Thank you sooooo much for your kindness of sharing, this is helping me a lots!
You make making Karelian Pies so easy. I tried once and didn't turn out. I wish I knew where I could buy them from. I loved them in Finland with egg butter. How I miss them.
Bea, I recently purchased your cookbook named "The Great Scandinavian Baking Book". I attempted to try "Danish Strawberry Cones". Your picture of the cones on the cover of your book look beautiful; however, mine did not look like yours. What is the secret of making "Danish Strawberry Cones". Do you have a video on UTube of you making them? Thank you . . .

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!!! I eat my Pulla with butter or fresh whipped cream! And, if I have some, lingonberry jam.
The paisti reminds me of my mother's method of cooking brisket; and the moyica stew we used to have, similarly blandly flavored as with the paisti.
Greetings many blessings your way Gbu always ❤️🌹 thank you for sharing.
My mother gave me this book years ago. I love it!

This was wonderful, I now want to make ever dish and buy your book, thank you!
I don't think you mentioned how much butter to use when you were doing the pulla. I thought perhaps the recipe would be included in a link somewhere
I didn't get how much butter to use either send I didn't see a reply. Could you please let me know how much? Thank you
@@mariettajones3093 The book recipe says 1 stick, but I sometimes add 2. The Great Scandinavian Baking Book is really worth finding.

The videographer wasn't paying attention. Whenever she says "you can see it" we see nothing cuz the camera wasn't getting in there.
