    THANK YOU for a quick, well-edited tutorial without some theatrical storyline or unscripted dialog that's more ad-lib than informational! Short and to the point! Very helpful and appreciated!

    👏 well done video presentation. The camera angles made it very easy to see what's being done. Thanks for posting.

    I left the positive connection block fully wired and removed the strut brace ( three 10mm bolts) to get some room. Only took a minute.
    I also connected a 12volt SLA to the rear lighter socket power plug before disconnecting the battery to keep all the settings.

    Great video! Well, I replaced mine and now it’s DEAD. Checked connectors and everything. Do you think I may need to clean terminals?

    • @AutomotiveDysfunction

      What you mean dead ? Did you spark by accident while removing connectors? If you did check all fuses… maybe ignition fuse since it’s all dead ?

      @@AutomotiveDysfunction including both I 1 video would be nice. Especially since the auxiliary need to be removed 1st. Some verbal explanation would have also been helpful. I, for 1, initially passed on this video because there was no taking. I came back to it today to see if battery set was the same as mine (multiple videos I watched had a strap holding the main battery in place as well) and sure enough this is the way my Limited battery is installed. Now, to try & do this with a much shorter tool extension.

    Thoughts on replacing the main with an AGM battery? I have the ess aux battery too

    • @AutomotiveDysfunction
      @AutomotiveDysfunction  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      it is AGM battery...most of these new vehicles have AGM batteries because of all big screens electronics etc... not sure about voyager because its lower trim of Pacifica, maybe they don't have AGM battery?( don't quote me on it lol )... I think if you get error message on screen about Auto Start/Stop malfunction it means bad aux batt...

    • @AutomotiveDysfunction
      @AutomotiveDysfunction  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ingram1225 oh ok.. this main batt was AGM you can see 0:55.. it all varies on different models I guess

      @@AutomotiveDysfunction I appreciate this. I replaced it yesterday with an AGM to find out the main WAS an AGM. the agm part was hidden from plain view and cross referencing the part number gave me both flooded and AGM as well as both H7 and H6 batteries.

    • @AutomotiveDysfunction
      @AutomotiveDysfunction  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@kevinreader9365 lol .. it’s not that bad as you can see … the only hardest parts is pulling battery out because it’s heavy .. as you can see in video, roll it on one side and pull out . That’s the hardest part lol

    • @kevinreader9365
      @kevinreader9365 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AutomotiveDysfunction yeah it only took me like 10 minutes to get it out and back in. The hardest thing I was dealing with was once I hooked up the negative side the horn started going off. So I had to turn on the van and then hit the panic button on the key to get the horn to stop

    That small battery block, the first one you bolted back in after putting the new battery in, is that plastic piece supposed to be able to slide underneath the battery? Or is it catching the bottom lip of the battery?
