Chrome Tailpipes are wrong as well, They are for 69 Dart. 70 Swinger had stubby,, same as 69 Cuda because of valance. Also should say Dart Swinger on Trunk lid not Dodge if its a real 340 car. Not sure if it is with these giveaways.
Add to the issues that the windshield shouldn't be tinted, missing jacking instructions on the underside of the trunk lid, missing gaskets on hood scope holes (helps keep water out). Also why not original reproduction tires.?
In High School, 1969-73, a Friend had a Dodge Dart, Yellow Body, Black Vinyl Roof and interior. I think his was either a 6 or small 8 Cylinder, Automatic Transmission Column Shift. I think it belonged to his Parents and he was able to drive it.
Beautiful car & restoration, but for being so correct, they never came with Magnum 500's. It would be even better looking with the correct Rallye Wheels, and some BF Goodrich white lettered tires. 🤘😎
These stock needed: intake, carb, cam, ignition, headers and rear gears to be a giant killer… however, they were econo boxes, with all associated shortcomings as such. Looks like a great restoration, but like other poster said… $50k in parts (includes car) with $150k in labor. That kind of investment is silly. Someone really loved that car. Unfortunate that they lost their ass selling it.
200K for the restoration??? Someone, or many someone's are out of their mind. I spent less than that to have a composite, one of one body 70' Cuda' by a big time chassis shop, with a stretched wheelbase and complete ground effects package, 4130 round tube chassis, strut/4-link, dual chutes, double bead-locks, 4130 rear housing, carbon shaft, lenco trans, titanium bell, dual disc clutch, all aluminum 562ci HEMI, PSI screw blower, multiple show winning House Of Kolor paint w/graphics etc., etc., etc. I'd love to see the highway robbery parts/labor bill on this deal.
Hmm, for that much investment, and care to use date code stamped plug wires, the errors are less excusable. Incorrect seat covers on the buckets, missing rubber doughnuts on the hood scoop holes, rim blow steering wheel which was available in abodies only in 1971. Obviously the road wheels and missing pentastar emblem. No fender tag?
