I guess for me the obvious thing is that it’s special to see no conflict between people when music has its way . In an increasing un parallel and decided and decisive smaller world community it is great and I could only hope that to just sit here and enjoy has a quality that anyone can enjoy.
Somebody forgot to insert "Josie" into the Tracklist (at 15:19). Oh well, it's great to hear the master doing his thing in Spain, and now we can pretend we're there soaking up this beautiful music.
Why is there any empty seats? I'd give a lot to see LR, especially with this rhythm section. Lot of respect for Travis & Gene. Thanks to Jazz/Green for the upload.
The most ridiculous comment I have read for some time. Sean is a tight, sexist arsehole with no talent to speak of. Larry Carlton has actually contributed to the art that is music and is still playing to this day. Connery is irrelevant in every way.
What's funny is, the second I heard him play I thought that the tone was different--better--more open on top. I immediately looked for the amp, and it's a Fender. Ha! BTW, he's been using a Bludotone amp for years. It's their take on a Dumble.
No, the recording is shit quality, just like your english. That you cannot hear that shows how little you know about sound, amps, guitars, live set up etc etc etc etc.
He's plays well but he carries his guitar too high, stomach, chest level, which is not cool, the guitar should be slung below waist level to be cool enough.
If he plays well enough (and he's fantastic and lots of people will tell you so)... I don't care if he holds it upside down with one hand overhead... it's still pretty d----d cool. 😉
The more I hear these men play the more impressed I am . They totally captivated my attention from beginning to end. A truly joyful sound.
that is called the father and the son same music ear the best genetic music liaison
Adoro perder tempo ouvindo Larry Carlton, em casa ou no trabalho, é muito bom!!!

Thankyou so much for this posting.
I love the Jazz Guitar music very much .
Me too, but Larry is not a jazz player. He plays rock, a little blues, and a lot of his own style music.
Love the touch on the base / awesome drum solo
Larry is fantastic..that’s a given, but the maturity of Gene and Travis is just amazing.
You mean Travis (Carlton) and *Abe* ...
@@bobsmith1098 Right! My iPad has a mind of its own at times.
thank you very much for this video!!
genetic music liaisons that jam session is the best so far

EXCELENTE............
Larry's biggest fan here, and now Travis'.
There are many song title inversions on this video (Goodbye for Ink dot etc...) but no big deal...Larry and his trio does the job !
Bravo!

Maybe I'm just dumb, but I don't see how that last song was Room 335.
I don't hear that either. Plus, "Gene"? $100 says that the drummer is Abraham Laboriel Jr. ❤
@@bobsmith1098 Gene Coye…you can Zelle me the cash
Is it my imagination or is there starting to be a resemblance between Larry and Sean Connery as they get older? Like fine wine regardless.
Larry looks more hip!

Le nom du batteur , please ?
Gene Coye
Abraham Laboriel Jr.
quantised groove free
He's a technical version of jeff beck lol.
No dumble amp and he's won guitar ,he lost something in the tone. Or P.A sound system not good enough that night.
It could also be that the keyboard player was MISSING from the stage!

It’s probably my first thumbs down but please do not do disservice to the legend. Enjoy the music instead of trying to look cool
@@nyxaquar3474 agreed. Not to mention: everybody's different. It works incredibly well for LC obviously😊

still need a rhithm guitar and keys, without them sound poor
Really !!!! bet you wish you sounded that poor ,,, pathetic comment
Larry Carlton is great guitarplayer but he is not a blues cat.
The fact you made that comment just shows how ignorant you are about either genre of music & Larry's ability.
