the average age is 65 or what? sad
Larry was literally one of the first artists my dad introduced me to at a very young age (in diapers) and his music forever stays in my mind and ears! I distinctly remember as I got a little older, on our cleaning days, he’d put records on and we be dancing around the house cleaning, pretending we were performing at times, lol. Ughh such incredible memories 😩. Life was simpler back then and music like Larry’s gets me though, takes me back and brings me the biggest smile!! ❤🤗
Gives Earl Klugh a real run for my money.
Wait, Is it true that Larry Carlton and Vanessa Carlton are related?
from joe pass to larry carlton
Top elevator music!
Travis Carlton on bass doesn't get better...
Sorry, I now see the song titles listed.
Besides Larry, there's Travis Carlton on bass, Dennis Hamm on keys and Gene Coye on drums.
Is that the young Omartian on Bass?
I am 69. Been playing guitar on bands since I was 17. When I grow up I want ti be like him.
In my opinion, there is no greater guitarist on the planet.
At 80 years old this guy and his son & Co still goosbump me. He added real class to Steely Dan too.
could listen to him play all day
A master at restraint, note choice and phrasing. My God this guy is a pleasure to hear.
As always, I have a high respect for Larry Carlton. He's one of America's treasure in music and arts.
Nothing more special than a father and son jammin together. Great memories!!!!
I can only imagine how deeply proud Larry must be of his son. Travis is a world-class bassist who brings so much to the performance while never overplaying or walking on anyone else's part. As both a guitarist and bassist myself with considerable experience, that is the highest compliment I could ever pay to a fellow bassist. Mr. 335 and his son are my dream team guitarist and bassist. As they say, it's all in the family!
Will never stop loving the sound of Larry Carton's Mr. 335.
Even after several decades, Larry and Smiles and Smiles never palls; just wonderful.
