Can you solve this please 0.164g of a divalent metal is deposited when a current of 0.55A is passed through a solution of its salt is 40mins. Calculate the relative atomic mass of the metal ( 1 faraday= 96500c)
The answer is 23.97 ... Using the formula that was taught here ..a divalent metal has a charge of 2 so that is going to be the no of charge (n) while solving...... it is not divalent but bivalent because it'll be difficult to find divalent anywhere.... although I understood what you were trying to say..😊
Sir please can you work this question for us what mass of silver will be liberated from a solution by the same quantity of electricity that liberates 0.32 g of copper? (Cu=63.5, Ag=108)
It is simple number of moles of copper/ number of moles of Silver = charge of silver over charge on the copper. find the moles of silver and use to solve it. It is Faraday's second law question.
Bellow, please do the calculation for this quiz. When a current was passed through 23.6g of molten lead ii iodide for 3min 5 sec 19.1 g of the electrolyte remained.calculate the amount of current passed. (3mks)
It's nice to see a Nigerian online chemistry tutor. Am used to studying with international tutors. Well done sir.
This guy is really good this helped a lot😊
I wish my Chemistry teacher was like you, Well done Sir
Great job sir 👍
Thank you ☺️
The best tutor I have seen so far
This is so explanatory..... Finally!!!♥️
I understand by heart sir thank you so much for the good explanation 👍
Sir you are best of all
Thanks a lot. The answer for the classwork is 4.32g
Wow ..I just got a new understanding on dis topic.. thanks a lot
Thank you sir. God bless you.
Omo, i've never seen ur formula in any chemistry textbook. thank u boss
Thank you sir
Thank you sir😊
May God bless you.
Thank you very much, you just made me know a lot on this topic
This is a bomb!!! I like that!
Thank you, sir. It helpful
Thank you so much for this BOMB!!!!
This is the best I'have seen🥰
Answer is 4.32g👈
God bless you sir
Thank you so much sir 🥰
Thank you so much sir
Thank you so much sir❤
Thanks you very much sit
Would this formula work for all calculations on electrolysis first law
Yes sir
It works for everything
4.32
But excuse me sir,Can silver as a charge of +2 apart from 1?
Can i use this formula to solve all electrolysis problems
Yes
Can you solve this please

Your good
Sir what if they don’t give us RAM
You will always be given RAM
Please can you prove why you got the equation
Z = R.A.M * Q / n* F
Thank you

Deduct the used mass from the total mass, then follow the same steps
22.7A
1.44g
Wrong
It's 4.32g
The answer is 4.32g
My answer is 4.32g pls am I correct
0.432g
Sir in that number 2 question u did 9650 instead of 96500 the answer is actually 2 sir not 2.0 according to your explanation
2.0 and 2 is thesame thing
