    I saw a documentary which showed the riverboat children. There was a boy called Jesse, who was shot by one of the ferry captains. He was such a cool little kid, who just wanted a chance in life. Like we all do. R.I.P buddy. 😥

    What really fascinates me about watching Amazonian river docs, is everytime i watch a new one, i learn something new or see something new. That's the beauty which always makes me want more of Amazonian videos. Keep them comin. I envy the inhabitants of these regions where life is so simple, laid back, unlike the mad rush, hustle bustle of modern cities and towns. Final note: loved the foot tapping drumbeat music played at the party @ 33:13. I wish, could know the name of the song???

    I worked on a ship back in the 80's that had a contract to ferry cargo between Santarem up the Amazon to a port Near Ciudad Guayana up the Orinoco. While in Satarem I looked forward everyday to the arrival of the river ferries that would dock near our vessel. I would like to one day take a trip down the Amazon on one of those ferries. Those six months I spent traveling up and down those two rivers were the highlight of my sailing career.

      Are you crazy? There lies right in the middle of amazon frorest one of Brazil 's biggest cities, where 40% of brazilian,tv set, wash machine,mobile,motocicles,all kind of eletronics with high technology are built and then sent to the other states and also exported world wide.
      Manaus is a big city with over 2,5 millions peoplo one of most industrialized city in the world,so don't fool yourself,get to inform yourself first before talking about things you know nothing about.

    I've had a few friends from Brazil through the years and found them all to be warm hearted and easy to get along with. One guy in college the girls wouldn't leave alone. Latin Americans seem to key of Italy for fashions and trends and in America while men love Italian cuts suits women tend to key on London and Paris. Leather jackets will never go out of style in Latin America. They don't care about being poetically incorrect.

    • @siriemapantanal6894
      @siriemapantanal6894 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry, sir. But there is no Latin America. There is one and only one continent called AMERICA since 1507, officially discovered and named in the South by the Iberians, by the way. Nobody here speaks Latin or have anythhing to do with the ancient Romans. Portuguese language is of Celtic origin. Brazil is a Celtic name, by the way.
