The stuntmen and women in Hong Kong were absolutely the best because of the choreography and meticulous planning and rehearsals! They made it much safer for themselves than it looked from the viewers perspective! Only the best martial artists could pull it off! Cindy and Norton were part of a small group of westerners with the skills! Thankfully everyone else in the industry have risen to the task 20 years later. Film school stage fighting classes are actually pretty good now compared to a few years ago!

Dude, that guy plays the main villain in a lot of Shaw Brothers films. His fight coragraphy is a lot better in those films. Best example would be the fight in the movie Martial Club, if you want to see just how good he is.

Hwang Jang Lee was one of the most complete leg fighter. You can see him doing all kinda kicks and his moves were unbelievable, even today it feels amazing. He trained Korean army taekwondo and Tang-soo-do before entering Hong Kong cinema. Casanova was national Taekwondo champion. Flash kicker- Tao-liang Tan was World taekwondo champion. These korean guys were in better shape compared to the Chinese actors of that era. Tao-liang Tan is the guy Who trained Taiwanese Chinese actor John Liu.
For me would be Yuen Biao, his kicks are straight and strong, and he's agile and acrobatic as well. It's ashamed he wasn't a bigger star outside of Hong Kong.

This movie was an all-star cast, at the end of the film those famous martial arts superstar arrived in the scene, to show their support for the film It was very nostalgic, that it never happened again.
Technically Expendables did it, but not really on the same level on the fights as the actors got much older by the time they decided to make that franchise.

Many scenes are missing compared to the CD version I had back then. There's a guy who was smoking mid-fight. He got his cigarette shoved into his mouth. You can see him fight against Sammo Hung at 1:20

It's rare to see all of them in one movie, the japanese that acted in fist of legend ,the america actor that always act as villain and also cynthia . The japanese girl in this movie i don't know she is japanese or hongkong actress but i think she is japanese. Hongkong style at that time. They let other countries actors/actresses keep their nationality even in the movies.
