@2:39 is the reason i give this a like! i love how he mentions "Common mistake" "Most People" , this is what makes it a quality content! mentions possible mistake/problems, so that it is Preventable!
I agree and am appreciative of it. I looked this up to see what I am getting into as I am going to help my dad with his brakes on his CR-V and I am glad I did. I am no stranger to brakes but I have always owned gm and Ford and I have never seen this design. Good video!
Thanks for you awesome cideo Unable to get the rotor off I hmmered it and still unable to pull it out ... total bolts i took out are 4 do I Need to unbolt some other bolts? Please help thanks
Spray penetrating oil on the wheel hub ring (where the rotor hole mounts on to). Place wood block on the back of the rotor as to not damage the rotor and bang away with a hammer on the wood block. Also some rotors have 12 mm thread holes to screw in 12 mm bolts. Screw in and torque 2 bolts into the holes to pry the rotor off.
@@hardlymovingpro thank you so there are no more than 4 bolts I took out and bo other bolts. Imthe rotor is stubborn due to lots of rust thanks foe the response truly appreciate it 🙏
Hi again just to be sure on my crv 2006 model there are total fo 5 bolts iam taking out 2, 12mm for caliber and 2, 14mm. Coz I can't seem to move that even an inch even following your technic kindly do let me know
Akebono pads if you're willing to pay a little more and can find it locally. Also like the Raybestos EHT pads. Wagner and Raybestos make good rotors as well.
Hi, what would be the problem if I put the pads back without the pad spreader springs? I lost one of them and put the pads back without them. please help what should I do.

Nice ! I'll be doing the brake pads and rotors on my 12 Nissan Altima. What's a good brand for brakes for my vehicle?
Akebono pads if you're willing to pay a little more and can find it locally. Also like the Raybestos EHT pads. Wagner and Raybestos make good rotors as well.
