Fix Outlook Error "This browser or app may not be secure" | Couldn't sign you in

As per Microsoft, this error occurs because it is not enabled in the Gmail account. Even though you will allow it, this error still comes in.
You can fix this error by installing a missing Office update available only for Office Beta.
All you need to do is make your Office 365 fetch updates from Office Insider, i.e., the beta channel.
Here's how to fix Outlook Error "This browser or app may not be secure" while adding a Gmail account
- Close all running Office apps
- Open CMD as admin and run the following command
reg add HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\office\16.0\common\officeupdate /v updatebranch /t REG_SZ /d BetaChannel
- Open any Office app and run the updates again manually
- Once updated, now when you try to add the Gmail account, it will redirect you to browser login
- Login to your Gmail account and allow the prompts
- It will be added fine now
