I like to give 2comments - Pa Ranjith (Pakkam Ranjith) 4km away from my home it's a village on the outskirts of chennai, I don't see anyone speaking fluent English, But from such a place with hard work, Ranjith is a Diamond from Dust, An Example that Diamond may glitter in AC shops in showcase but it's a dust that requires hardwork, and anyone can come up in life with Sheer hard work. I love Hollywood movies more, Many select Baasha, Annamalai as their fav movie, I choose Kaala coz it's almost reality brought to screen, Ranjith has also brought Rajini dime as an actor, other movies of Rajini I feel like stunt, but I see Rajini acting, script and Ranjith special, I rate this movie equal to Hollywood movie, Santhosh Narayan background music awesome. In simple words Hero put into a situation where he takes revenge and hits everyone and sings duet - There can be imagination but there must not be foolishness, In this movie Hero is old, real life problems, the poor and Rich Political game going in India, U think Kaala a gangster movie, I say it's a normal real life story, Hero falls but People realise that they don't need hero but unity - 💯 to Ranjith - I give 9/10 and rate this movie along with best like Shawshank Redemption, God Father , 💯 to Rajini and 💯 to Samutharakanni sir - The assassination of Rajini and the scene he walks into the fire (Background music brings goosebumps) Mass Screenplay by Ranjith - Am so proud of you
What pa Ranjith failed to understand is Raavanar is a bramhin known by other name Raavanabramha. He is an ardent devotee of Lord shiva and also worte kaalaBhairava asthakam. It looks paRanjith is palying into the hands of foreign missionaries to divide Hindus and crop up hatred among them. TN is the most secular state I have seen, all Hindu people visit churches and Dargas and offer prayers, but still other religions try to divide Hindus. Stupidity at peaks😔

In Southern part of India especially in Tamil Nadu ravanan is considered more wiser than ram. At the same time, ethically Rama was wrong in many places in Ramayana ex, he follows varna system, so he gets criticized. Though ravan was portrayed as antogonist in ramayana, he is a very good person with good heart and he is the best king in his time
