Chris Parnell is the best deadpan actor hands down.
It's a disgrace that Chris Parnell was never even nominated for ANY award for guest appearance! Of all the guests who were nominated (Jon Hamm, Will Arnett, Dean Winters, etc), no one deserved it more than Parnell IMHO. The other actors are extremely talented...not taking anything away from them. But CP was just on a different level with Dr. Spaceman!

Chris Parnell is one of the best at doing the "air of authority" voice while spouting the most deranged lunacy.
The number of times Dr Spaceman has Jack unnecessarily remove clothing, combined with the fact he is a pill mill doctor reminds me of John Mulaney's Dr Michael, with him having John take his shirt off for no reason.
'Tracy, I don't know how to say this...' is one of my favorite jokes ever

I've always loved Chris Parnell. So underrated. This character was based on an SNL skit in which Will Ferrell plays the 'out-of-left-field' doctor and Parnell plays a parent alongside Molly Shannon. It's also the introduction of the curse word 'vondruke!'
