Oh Dear! I bet the paintshop boys were in trouble over that paint scheme! Even the first guy in the peaked cap couldn't believe what he was seeing!
It’s relatively common for the stencils for the lettering to get applied the wrong way around in the paintshop, and is it’s only noticed when the flight crew arrive to pick up the aircraft.

The reversed video spoilt otherwise great old footage.
Its not reversed dummy, its done that way so planes in front can see what is says when they look in there rear view mirror 🤣🤣

Why is the BOAC reversed?
Because all the video is reversed.
@@jrvf2000 Yes definately. Look at the staircase in the F class cabin.
I'm confused about what is reversed.
@@brkitdwn Look at the word BOAC in the opening sequence. Similarly the staircase in the F cabin should come down to the right hand side not the left hand side of the cabin when facing the rear of the aircraft.
